OP, do you not have a cell phone?

Can't do any raids pvp or dungeons on phone so maybe a new game but not wow will be on mobile.

There's android emulators available for PC

Another MMO franchise that's PC based, made a new mobile game but linked to an emulator they deemed to be trustworthy on their site for their players who wanted to stick to PC

He is correct, but he link fails hard.

No he's not.

1) They are not making "all ip's mobile"
2) They said "We have some of our best developers working on.." not the top developers have been put on the mobile products of the IP's" The text the op put in quotes does not actually happen in the video.

The op is hilariously misconstruing things.
Well, no !@#$, Blizzard is a business.
how does "will have mobile counterparts" translate to "all IPs will become mobile" were you dropped on your head as an infant?

WoW already has two mobile counterparts. mobile options don't necessarily mean a full translation to mobile. companion apps are a thing. maybe they'll bring back the original mobile Armory and AH.
Ya, I expect all IPs of blizzard will one day have a mobile game. The thing is, mobile devices only get more powerful, and we will shortly have good cloud computing to help with processing so the question of mobile design are does it have enough screen real estate to work? Does it look good on a small screen? Does it use augmented reality and require the ability to move around the real world? If those questions are answered in novel and compelling ways then great, lets play some games with phones. If you don't have a good answer to at least some of those questions then please don't!

And after mobile will come VR. It might take a while but it will happen. None of that means that PC or console has to go, unless one of them turns out so compelling that we won't care. And that is the great thing about the future. We don't know what we don't have yet.

See ya in Wow 2 VR in 12 years.

Well its been a fun ride blizz, only the dumbest white knights will say that the words he said don't mean what those words mean.

Good to hear it from the horses mouth.

We have many of our best developers now working on new mobile titles, across all of our IP's.

I'm not sure what's complicated about this... he literally said they are working on new mobile titles across all their IP's. I set up the quote there, word for word.

the words he said don't mean what those words mean.

I'm sure what was said in the video was meant by the person.

.. but what the op put in quotes, was not what was said.

That was just made up by them, then put in quotes to mislead... and that's the nice name for what they are doing.

Here's another thread from them, posted just now: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20769608888
1. warcraft heroes mobile(rts/action)
2. diablo immortal mobile
3. overwatch fighter/kart racer
4. starcraft mobile

Just a reminder that while I'm not a fan of Diablo immortal, the game is not the problem. If they announced it alongside D4, D1/2 remake, or D3 expansion, it wouldn't be an issue. The fear that's being spread is that Blizzard is moving away from PC to the mobile market. I absolutely refuse to believe there's any truth to that.

If mobile titles are off-spec projects they work on alongside their mainline titles, then it's whatever. If Diablo 4 is being worked on, then i'm cool with immortal existing. Just don't present it in away that suggest that's all you've got coming.
The only thing thats going to bother me about this and possibly diablo is that I won't play that on my phone. I hardly play anything on my phone to begin with, I read the forumns lol. I have hearthstone and every so often I'll open it to realize i haven't used it in forever so I end up not playing because it isn't on my mind to update it when I get home unless I'm really in the mood...

I really hope they don't do story progression in warcraft or diablo soley on mobile outlets. That would really disappoint me. Otherwise whoever wants to play it mobile more power to them, but I'll stay right here in front of my nice computer when I play. I rarely go out other than work and when I do its to spend time with my wife, not play more games.

Basically, I understand mobile platforms are advancing and don't mind them making games for it as long as it isn't only on mobile with story progression... if there's new story it better be on PC.
