I sure hope not! certain classes do not make sense with all races. This breaks immersion! Druids, Shamans, Paladins and many other classes have specific racial lore.

why cant a night elf be a shaman you ask?.. because of the children’s book. “If you give a mouse a cookie”… you should read it… here is an example… if you give night elf’s shaman… you will want totems that look “night elven”… see… slippery slope for no benefit to the game. only to satisfy people who will still complain… there is no appeasing these people.
