Pretty much as title says. I had a lot of materials being deposited into the reagent bank and when I looked after the 6 tokens of merit I decided to pick for this Tuesdays vault disappeared with the reagents going into the bank. Don’t make this same mistake! GM’s looking into it only saw ones I got in Feb and were spent on gold chests.
I opted to get 2 tonight and they did not go into the character’s bags - simply vanished. Upon looking at my other toons, I find that none have any saved tokens of merit. Sad.
How do you have those already? I thought the first S2 vault is next tuesday.
The tokens acquired from the vault this week were grey vendor trash items from season 1 (each vendoring for 500g, equal to the value they had converting 2 into 1000 gold during season 1). Season 2 tokens are available starting the next week.

yeah if you chose tokens this week, you couldn’t do anything with them other than sell them for 500g a piece
I just noticed this happening on my Spriest. I hit the button to sell gray items and saw them disappear. Not chance to buy them back. So, is this the way it was supposed to work? Would I have not been able to trade them for crests?
They were converted to gray vendor trash items as part of 11.2’s release, so yes that is an expected outcome if you used the sell grey items button. The NPC was already updated to the S3 item pool. The sell value was 500g each, marking the equivalent of if you’d bought the 1k gold chest at its 2-token price.
