Greetings Friends,
Acquired Taste 8/8 BWL, 1 hour MC clears. Is a new transferred guild from Arcanite Reaper. A progression raid guild with mature players (most of us are in our mid to late 30s.) We care about our reputation in the server and pride ourselves in being a bunch of good people. We are looking to recruit five core raiders: 1 Mage, 1 Shadow Priest, 1 Holy Priest, 2 Holy Paladin. We are fine if you only have pre-raid BIS items.( exceptional melee will be considered) as long as you bring the right attitude and listening skills.
Loot Philosophy: We distribute loot via a loot council, which is a group of officers and class leaders that determine the distribution of items based on individual’s performance, attendance , attitude , and guild involvement. Let’s be honest… Loot council can either be terrible if you have a greedy council making selfish decisions, or it can be amazing if you have a council that is selfless and cares about the overall progression of the guild. We care and it shows. We strike at the balance between making sound min / maxing decisions, while also taking into consideration that there is a person at the end of that keyboard that deserves rewards for their dedication. (PvP items are distributed with heavy influence on how much the player PvPs.

- Understand the expectations involved with progression and know what’s expected of them personally. Coming to raid prepared with a thorough knowledge of your class and role within raid.
- Maintain excellent reliable attendance notifying us in the case of an absence.
- Are able to give and receive professionally given constructive criticism.
- Place a high priority on community, team work, and ensuring a positive culture.
Raid Times:
We raid on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4pm PST (Server Time).
Currently we do a BWL on Saturday and do MC and Onyxia on Sundays. Onyxia on an off-night (typically Wednesday or Friday) due to the 5-day lockout.
