Aggressive people on forums who hide their profiles (What happened to trust but verify?)

We just haven’t unlocked Mythic+ forums yet…

Go look at their raid history.

Yes, now go do some math and add up all the boss kills

Have you actually raided or done M+ with them? If no how do you know they actually struggle and that isn’t just some act to laugh at people armory trolling

Personality I find it comical. Why hide?

Sometimes I think my own profile won’t work and my alt has nothing to hide!

See, I think that’s what he likes you to believe & he’s succeeding at it.

I remember looking at his armory back in Legion and seeing his Aman’Thul’s Vision trinket and feeling totally jelly lol.

That’s an awfully high ilvl for a level 83…

yeah, kinda weird, its the old i level of mop/cata stuff.

My level 116 is at 251, I have no idea how it’s possible a level 83 is at 314 lol

the armory hasn’t updated to bfa i level system because i haven’t went in game with this character

Ahhhhh, well it looks really strange… just as strange as the guy who made a post yet had zero.

check out this guy!

You can still check them on the armory, or wowprogress to see gear and boss kills.

Warcraft Logs allows people to hide their logs as well (lol).

Usually if people are trying to hide their character, it’s because they’re bad and don’t want to be called out that they’re using agility gear on a strength dps character.

But then they’ll just hide behind the “people stalking me armory” excuse.

No one really hides their profiles. The inability to view them in the new forum was a bug that’s been fixed. Log off the forum and back on, and you’ll be able to view everyone’s profile. (Except the .01% that actually does hide them.)

I hide my profile because I do not wish to participate in trivial forum features. You do not need to know when I am typing or what I am looking at.

It is utterly trivial to find someone’s armory page if you want to check out their gear, transmog, or achievements. The format is:

Go at it.

Hello there.

Normally here on the forum, I blame Koro.

But not this time.

This time it’s your fault, Zunde!

Hi. Try looking for me.

People who complain about privacy want their inexperienced opinion to be on par with an experienced opinion, and don’t get why that isn’t the way the world worksstrong text

Akston: with respect, “the way the world works” right now is very much in the redefining of privacy, its definitions, its ENFORCEMENT, the past has pushed this issue to the forefront where it will STAY for a very long time.

GDPR was only the start. The tip of whats to come.

I wont be exaggerating to say that you can expect some very harsh and very stringent laws and changes to come. In Aust and NZ, believe me, the hammer is coming down.

Remember what i said earlier about legal precedent?

Thats when a court takes a decision from elsewhere and uses it to make a new ruling…privacy, despite the sneers of many who believe that “privacy isnt a right and isnt an issue and what do you have to hide” are in for one massive rude awakening.

That’s nice.

It has absolutely nothing to do with what i said.

But that’s nice.

Actually it does

But as you will.

The legal rulings of countries and right to privacy laws, has nothing to do with “hiding” your armory profile for WoW.

It has nothing to do with talking about m+ if you have no m+ experience…yet wanting to be taken as seriously as those that do.

It has nothing to do with talking about pvp if you have no pvp experience, and having your opinion carry the same weight as someone that does.
