Just join discord and dont speak. I mean if you cant handle that, then leave the group. Dont cry about it. Its literally a non-factor.
Its their raid group. If you have cleared it that many times, why dont you just host your own non-discord group?

Some people are not as cool as you and prefer discord. If that’s their group requirement because that’s what they need to be successful, then that’s what they want. Start your own no discord group. Done.

That’s literally it.
Voice Quality is comparable to Discord.
It functions fine and it’s there at the press of a button.
Pugs aren’t linking Discords for long-term connections or to link Weakauras (you can do that in game, whoever suggested that ???) and guides, they just want to be able to better communicate mid-fight.
Which in-game voice does equally well without needing a separate 3rd party program or browser open.
But Discord was here before the Voice Chat revamp. So Discord is what people stick to.
If Discord didn’t exist yet, it MIGHT have actually become a popular thing to use, since the popular voice chat options prior to it cost the host money if they wanted more than x amount of people in their server.

Not always. On the few occasions I’ve tried to use it instead of discord, I’ve found it to be less reliable.
Literally it’s not hard to be in discord… it’s a simple ask of people… and if you’re that " panties in a bunch" about it then you can also joint discord and turn down the volume in your actual computer settings… stop coming in here like a bottom whining about a simple fix…

If you expect me to type out whos doing what for each part of an encounter because youre too lazy to take 3 seconds to join a discord, I’d kick ya too.
Yes, you may be competent, but a lot of people arent, and im not going to waste my time trying to YOLO mechanics because no one wants to join voice.
As for the guild vs. pug… id be much more comfortable not being in disc with my guild because at least then I know we all plan on doing the fight the same way.
If you want raids without disc, make a group and lead it.
