What I find toxic is entitled players that think you owe them a spot in your group when they don’t want to meet the conditions. Worse, they go around pissing and moaning about it afterwards. Now THAT is toxic.

No raid leader cares that you’ve cleared it x amount of times on x amount of characters. If the raid leader says is required then you get into discord, its not hard, if you don’t like it, leave and find another raid group.

So many people already have and use discord and have their stuff set up for it. Because wow voice chat came out so late in a usable format, so many people don’t even have it set up because why would they? They have discord already and it’s like 7 or 8 characters you have to type into discord or a few more into a browser.
Just because someone has cleared doesn’t mean they’re a perfect player and doesn’t mean callouts can’t help them. I’ve watched CE Raiders flop without callouts on a heroic boss early s3 shadowlands.
I mean… find a group that doesn’t require discord. If I’m progging with my guild and filling with pugs, you bet your booty I’m requiring discord. I don’t care if “you know the fights”, we might make call outs that you’re not expecting since it’s prog for us.
So in short, we’re probably not the group you’re looking for anyway. Just go somewhere else lol
