With how much fun Legion remix is, is it possible to just do Legion classic instead of WoD after MoP classic is over? I remember how terrible WoD was

They ran MoP remix during Cata classic, so the fact that they are running Legion remix now, definitely suggests it could be the next classic, skipping over WoD.
I honestly really hope it is.

wod was amazing. literally everything about it, except the garrisons (Which under-delivered and took massive resources) was great. the problem was the lack of raids (and as someone who didn’t raid I didn’t care) but that is what everyone that cried mainly cried about. The garrison stole so much from the rest we lacked the raid(s), Farahlon zone, specific alliance and horde cities, and I think a few other things. quite sad. still good.
but what we got? the raids we got? looking back (and having seen them since) - amazing, pvp was my favorite it’s been literally ever and the gear scaling system it used was the best system they have ever made.
wod content was great. it made wod awesome.
the lack of wod content sucked, it made wod not awesome.

Been having a lot of fun in legion remix and I hope we get there, but don’t skip WoD. WoD is perfect for the classic format. It has some of the best raiding content ever. Just accelerate it (for real this time, not like cata). Then do Legion and end it there. It really feels like the end of the story with Sargeras defeated.

I don’t even like WoD much but they need to do WoD if they’re going to keep going with this even if just for nostalgia sake. The point of these is to let people have the opportunity to experience these expansions again or for the first time and there is always going to be that player base that likes certain expansions including WoD.

Considering that they didn’t do a WoD Remix, maybe that’s what the plan is.
id argue the raids were better in wod then legion. Antorus wasn’t that good. very bland environment hardly any change. Nighthold was fun but still a boring environment when you’ve spent days already doing dailies there. Tomb of sargeras also was boring to look at. Most of the bosses in legion were cool though, with some stinkers.
Absolutely silly for anyone to think they would skip WoD and go directly to Legion.

It would be kinda weird to do legion remix and then skip wod and go straight to legion. If they did cata i’d assume they would do wod. I think wod was more popular than cata was back in the day. At least in WoD there was more to do when it came to tmogs, farming old raids, rares etc. Cata there was literally nothing to do outside of raid and pvp because old raid scaling was not a thing. Would be cool if they added m+ in wod classic though. Instead of just challenge modes. Challenge modes dont offer replayability for 99% of the player base. It’s a one and done thing. As you can see in mop classic , challenge modes are not popular at all.
They’re prob teasing Legion remix because they know WoD numbers will be bad. Trying to pull people into WoD to get ready for Legion.
In my opinion it would be better to do WoD on an extremely fast cadence. The idea of completely skipping an expansion just seems silly to me. Get us through WoD, into Legion and end this line of classic there.
They did exactly that for Remix.

they’ve never skipped an expansion yet though. They could have easily skipped cata and most everyone would have been probably fine with it because mop was the better expansion in the majority of peoples eyes. It’s all about metrics. If it’s making a profit they don’t want to end it early. WoD is another year or more of profits.

Maybe. I was looking forward to Cata, because I thought it was a good expansion. I was looking forward to MoP, because I hadn’t really played it. I would say Cata was a much better expansion than MoP now, but that’s obviously my opinion.
Note that I have not stated I think they will skip WoD. That isn’t my opinion.
they did too much work to not at least roll out wod C. if we were being left to die, they’d not have done mergers. they’d have let us choose to die in our comfy graves lol.
and ticking people off from it.
Normally I’d roll some tin foil to say it was to push service sales. But…they blocked those from grobb. that would have been a decent money maker.

prepared for tanaan jungle rep grinds. Hell on eart…draenor there. They think they do…but they will be here. Probably complaining about rep token prices. Even gouged pricing, worht every copper some nights.
also on these mega server attemtps…I look forward 15 dudes climbing the same tree.
I hated the climb a tree “chest” openings. Some real fun ones all by yourself. 10 dudes up in the branches? Patience will be needed.
they’ve made small changes here and there to classic as it has gone on (class balancing, celestial dungeons/the cata/wotlk equivalent of those) and whatever else.
the big dream is that for wod classic they maybe introduce some of the scrapped content they had planned for wod (shattrath raid, farahlon, horde/ally cities, garrison location choice + your choice of racial theme, etc etc etc).
imo if that happened it would be huuuuge

I dont understand this “skip WoD and go to Legion” thing. You do realize they’d have to implelemt WoD to level through it at the very least?
