I was extremely frustrated since the start of TWW that as a warrior i couldn’t play the game, every arena i was being disabled by 90% of the time by any class, the game was just not fun.
After investing in Blitz i noticed that i can actually make my rotations, i can play without being disabled most of the time due objectives, the game is actually fun.
Battlegrounds has some negatives like teleporting to 2nd and 3rd floor and some flag carrier issues, but is still a lot less frustrating than shuffle.
Objectives makes the game more fun, no more garbo stealth resets, no more pillar humping whole game… no more being disabled most of the time. All specs are viable. Blitz is far better than Shuffle.
Because arena isn’t free elite like blitz is.
I have unironically seen someone stuck at 1100 40% WR in shuff, at 2100 in blitz.
Not to mention the numerous 1600 46% WR shuff players at 2400+ CR in blitz.
Just had this creature in a 2600 game calling the healer trash for not healing him. It’s even more of a meme than shuffle ever hoped to be. Kind of a shame because bgs are cool.
I get your point and I feel the same. What you’re saying is that in arenas you get disabled so much by all the possible counterplays, along with committing your own counterplays, that it never feels like you’re really being proactive.
Like, we don’t play a warrior or a monk to sit roots, fears or polies, but that’s what the game boils down to in arenas.
I like to think that objective-based PVP will be a bigger part of PVP than deathmatch has been so far in the not so far future with the success of blitz.
This is just a fallacy, if you are a 2500 player in a “hard/not-inflated” season then you should hit 2800-3000 in an inflated season. If bad players rise their ranks you are not suposed to stay in the same place, am i wrong?
It’s just boring that people get 2100-2400 by accident when the ladder has 1200 free mmr and spend the next half of a decade insisting that every other season is broken/deflated because elite isn’t top 25,000 players.
Your problem is that most players shouldn’t be rewarded at all, just the 1%?
Why does it matter? a 3000CR player still be far from a 2000 CR player just like a 2500CR player is far from 1500CR player.
Do people actually enjoy playing without a mw duo and wsg/twin peaks being completely rng dependent?
Thats probably one of the main things I hate about blitz. MW having x100 the impact of any other spec on flag maps.
