I did play arena on my lock today, had an awfull time, because of the conquest of the weekly quest and then bought a chest and gave to my evoker to see if i got another piece of the transmog, got a repeatable piece.
lesson learned, those weekly pvp quests can burn in hell for all i care… I don’t have fun in arena, even when i’m not caring much about winning, i still get enraged, trained and locked down by melee.
yeah, i just can’t have fun… in bg blitz i learned i don’t have to deal with any of that enfuriating aspects of arena, good positioning, bluffing to miss kicks, timing for defensives, checking drs and trinket cd, momentum to burst, cc the healer.
I got sick of it… see you never Arena, the time we had together in bfa, shadowlands, dragonflight (where i got all my elites) was not fun at all, goodbye.
The MMR in blitz is broken. While I still queue some, it’s just as equally frustrating if you ask me, if not more so.
Like the drama queen shadow priest I had the other day. One player makes a mistake and he goes AFK. lol. We were down two cart caps on mines and only 600 points into the game. Or how about having every FC map and never getting a MW… YOU finally do and they refuse to carry.
Naw, you said it correctly in your opening post. You don’t need to learn the game or anything about pvp in bgb and can mess up as much as you want and probably be a lot more successful in it than you ever would in actual arena.
That was my intent at the beginning of the season. I wanted to focus on objective based PvP. Now, however, in SS I have passed my BGB rating in a fraction of the time. BGB is 2 or 3 changes away from being amazing, imo. If they just added some sort of black hole MMR protection, I’d be content. That and receiving 0 rating for a win, that needs to go away.
The rating system is bad in my opinion, as the punishment for losing is far to severe and the reward for winning is a joke especially after losing a few games prior to winning a match. I understand a risk and reward system but were is the reward? What we have at the moment is nothing more than a method designed to keep you in a hamster wheel.
This goes for all methods of playing rated pvp not just bgb and SS.
