Those are the instances where I would be messing around not even thinking… lol I know in one dungeon, I let a dps die on the boss fight cause I was taking a sip of my drink, just chilling. I almost died as well lol but it’s a dungeon while leveling, like no biggie. Unless they use a pre raid IO score before 60 and actual IO scores take affect. That would be funny.
The dev’s seem intent on doubling down on it. With the new requirements in m+ for keystone achievements to upgrade gear toxicity is only going to get worse sadly. It’s why I’m finally walking away and going to try out other mmo’s.

Depends on the person, I want to collect everything so more gold = more stuff 
I think M+'s popularity is grossly over exaggerated.

I know I didn’t enjoy it. I only did it because the other raiders were and I felt like I had to keep up with loot. I wish m+ would just die.

Happy trails. I missed all of Cata, MoP and most of WoD, but I honor those who stuck it out for the whole run. It’s no small thing and a testament to the greatness of this game.
But even the last two expansions I quit during the .0 and came back and really enjoyed the .2 or .3 patches. Somehow things get less b**tchy later into an expansion’s life cycle.
I’m with ya brother. My sub is up on Sunday and I dont plan to renew it. I got 7 toons to 60 and most of them are 190ish through pvp. I haven’t raided serious since wrath and don’t have the drive to try. M+ is fun at first but then becomes a slog with the toxicity and RIO bs. PvP is my thing and with the way the class imbalance is currently and how bad arena’s are with the paid carries it’s just not fun. Having R1 Glads carrying people in 1200-1500’s for gold ruins it for people who actually want to try to advance and have fun. I might be back once they sort out some of the issues and release a few content patches. Good luck!

Take care of yourself, hint: find a new, completely different passion; something you’ve always wanted to try. Sending tons of support and kindness your way. Real life can be a bear, but lots of great stuff in there too

Sorry to see you leave…sorry to see anyone leave. IMO the Activision’s bean counters know exactly how low total subscriptions can go before it is no longer financially viable to make it worth wile to support and keep World of Warcraft active. I believe, each subscription lost brings us closer to our last time logging in…

Many people don’t, it’s okay, but sometimes if one doesn’t know how to help it’s best to say nothing. You know those sayings: “if you don’t have something nice to say, ect” or “if you can’t be part of the solution don’t be part of the problem.” Just old adages that are helpful when someone is in obvious pain.

I haven’t logged in much at all in the last few weeks. My sub runs out beginning of March… I was going to log in tonight to pvp with my sis, but since I reinstalled Windows, and a patch was released yesterday, the game I copied to a different drive is no longer usable. I was planning on leaving it uninstalled / unused, but my sis and I have been pvping together since TBC. It’s kind of our family tradition.
The launcher was forcing me to re download the entire game.
WHAT? I have to download another 70gigs because the game can’t patch the game I have. Just do a CRC check etc… don’t make me waste all that bandwidth. So, I won’t be reinstalling it to pvp with my sis.
She also stopped playing. She called me… said roughly, “I hate this anima… this is so boring… I just bought a new computer, and I don’t want to play this crap. I’m playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, and I’m having more fun.”
She said she won’t renew either.

I was in such a hurry to leave and uninstall I forgot I had auctions running lol. Nvm though I can’t see myself going back unless the entire current dev team quits and they get new talent in. I needed room to install several steam games I purchases during the last sale. Still have 2 months on my sub though cos I was silly and bought a 6 month one thinking sl was going to be good.

Good luck OP. I’m kind of in the same boat but my last break was from the beginning of Cata to the final six months of WoD. My sub ends next month it’s been a month since I logged. Might be time for another break. This is the first tier since EN that I’m not getting AOTC but I’m fine with it. I’m going to watch Blizzconline and see what’s planned for future patches and then make a go/no-go decision. It’s difficult to explain but just not feeling this xpac so far. Granted once I got AOTC the last tier in BFA, I wasn’t doing islands, warfronts or M+; I was just grinding WQs for paragon caches / gold on main and four alts also running old content. In SL, doing callings for rep, torghast for ash, maw quests for stygia / rep, the two weekly dungeons, M+ for vault, raid and farming for mats on alts, those same chores for alts, leveling sub 60 alts - just wasn’t fun after a month or so. I’d log into an alt and my shoulders would just sag when I saw my to-do list. Part of me thinks I’ll come back once catchup systems are in place and do in a few weeks what it took months to do. Here’s to hoping my interest in SL / WoW comes back due to wonderful improvements…
Ick… could you install it to the bare minimum level to pull the auctions? Might be an idea. My sis also said she’s glad she bought the basic. She said she sees the 6 month sub as a con.
Hopefully you have something else to play that’s fun.

Haha, no I couldn’t bare to spend the time and effort downloading the game again right now. I’m sure it will sort itself out, if I lose a few thousand golds it’s not a big deal. And yeah I’m already enjoying hellblade and dishonored atm thanks
