I wonder how good that truly is considering you often see the same bots around next week.
And it also depends on what blizzard are doing to prove those accounts are botting.
During 8.0 I remember seeing a group in nazmir swamp near the bridge to zuldazar full of bots clearly being automated, I killed them two times and on the third it seemed that bots were now coded to target me and one of the bots seemed to be handled by an actual player, which means they could be botting but having a player around to guide the bots in case someone attacks for a long time because only after the 2nd time killing them did they start hunting me for long distances.

Another unfounded accusation you can’t prove.
Report and move on. Guaranteed you’re wrong and those Druids will still be there tomorrow.

Theres a difference, but i think both are garbage.
Hey if you wanna just stick your head in the sand be my guest. Those of us willing to use our brains will keep on keeping on. And I will continue to report and move on, as that’s all I can do. That doesn’t change the fact that it isn’t very hard to spot a clear bot squad.

I just want to interfere with bots, that why I asked.

No, you’re just running conspiracy theories up the flag pole and seeing who will salute.
Those aren’t bots. They’ve been doing it for a LONG time, they’ve been reported, investigated and cleared numerous times… and you’re just plain wrong. Sorry.

Its been a problem for 14 years now. Just get used to it. All sharding did was hide it a bit from every player.

Lmao, you have zero evidence to demonstrate that the druids HAVEN’T been banned… repeatedly… and just remake new accounts with new druids to do the exact same thing.
You’re just plain stupid or really good at acting it. Sorry.

In after people using made up words that conflate botting and multiboxing because they refuse to understand that they are two separate practices.

This can be done easily by just having different abilities on different keys. So if 3 boomkins have wrath on 2 but two of them have lunar strike on 2 then they’ll cast different abilities. Or you can use https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/gse-gnome-sequencer-enhanced-advanced-macros
Well, I reported bots and twice received an ingame mail from Blizzard Support thanking me and saying that the accounts of the offenders had been actioned. So unless I think they are lying (which I don’t automatically assume) then they did investigate and take appropriate action.
In which case it isn’t a bot. Any character that is played using any interaction from a player is not a bot. A bot is where someone sets the character or characters in motion and leaves the computer (as in, sets it going and goes to work for the day, or whatever). Where anyone is providing any interaction with a character, it is considered farming and not botting. And if they are controlling more than one character, its multiboxing which again is not botting.

Ah yes an obvious bot farm that is fully automated is totally not a bot farm because a player somewhere gets a warning that something is happening and has to investigate by taking control of a bot
genius reasoning there.

Look for Multiboxing on twitch if you want to see who those players are.
Standstill farm are toxic and blizzard should ban people who do it for exploiting a game mechanic.
Its 100% the definition of exploiting…

Multiboxing has been around since vanilla. It isn’t going anywhere - deal with it.
It is perfectly within the TOS, even has its own entry saying so:
Get over your jealousy and either try it out yourself, or stop complaining.

True, but…if that player is using anything that breaks the rule for automation, his charge will be for botting.
Keep reporting them.
All my active alts at the moment have mail in their mailboxes from support, they do and will action them.
It’s not instant.
Bots are not welcome, and if they scream “ItS JuSt MuLTiBoXiNg!” ignore it, bots are bots.

/tar (enter mob here)
/cast moonfire
Literally all you need to target mobs… don’t even need alt tabs.
There’s always bots farming in drustvar near the rare cow. Just spamming moonfire and skinning the pigs. I’ve reported them a lot, but they’re always there.
Something about the Starfall animation can makes GPUs implode, especially when there’s multiple going off. Wish they’d fix it already.
