TBCC was like this too. I didn’t know my server had people on it.
Till I leveled to quest by shattrath. it was then I said ahh, here are where the people are.
this was on atiesh, and grobb. not seeing people would be expected on OB lol. I only see people when its raid night.
If you’re referring to RDF, Classic has proven it was not that tool that caused this behavior.

retails mythic D and raiders do the same thing lol. and that ain’t lfr or lfd. Oribos till 80% full then maybe pack up to head out.
the one raid was by a world boss that killed the zone’s network. you didn’t want to deal with that crap till right before lol.
walking by him had you thinking you were playing d3 on a bad night. rubber banding, non mages teleporting 10 feet ahead when the server caught up. I’ve seen d3 lag spike nicer than this.
there is zero reason to run 5mans
a fresh 80 will not need any 5man loot mere hours after dinging.
Emblem loot this phase is useless for many classes
Basically all that is worth geting in old content is dying curse which is from naxx not 5mans.
You guys complain of no content yet often have 0 arena rating
except its fun to do with friends, and achievements are something some people enjoy getting.
maybe because they arent entertained by killing other players? you know not everyone enjoys that.
no but its fun to get.

Too bad they didn’t add a new set of achievements for H+.
But that would have been actual effort and affixes are the lazy way to go.

Nobody PvPs in wrath because it is objectively profoundly worse than retail.
The level of complexity is so much lower than retail that any type of competitive gameplay is just laughable, let alone the extant balance issues.

PvP in WoW has always been a meh side game, if I want good pvp I’ll go play a game with good pvp.

There are lots of new games, you’re totally free to play them if you feel you’ve expended this one’s entertainment value.

Same could be said for pve though couldn’t it? my only experience with pve past wotlk was soloing old raids to get BG gear in WoD, so please correct me if im wrong…but i thought wrath pve is simple as well. argument holds zero water
pve’ers are so quick to wheel out all these excuses why they dont pvp. its the same exact game you just hit more buttons and face humans instead of scripted ai. If you hate it that’s cool but don’t be complaining about “no content” unless you’ve actually pushed arena to a decent level and played the other half of the game

Got glad the first time around, no need to play the same comps against the same comps with no variation again this time through.
It isn’t the same.
PvE is about working with a large group of people, making friends, having a good time downing content together.
PvP is about flexing on other people, working with high rated strangers to do so.
Flexing on other people with a knock-off Rolex doesn’t really have the same feel, ya dig?
for others…they kept this server only too long and this was a feature some gave up on. I settled on running the scrub casual of bg anywhere scene long ago lol.
It makes me happy enough. and the pvp I truly care about…is in another game. Eve. We “sweat lord” if for reasons there. people get stupid, several billions in isk of ships get lost. So we try to limit this. even then its newer player and lesser gear friendly.
we don’t turn away noobs. we can find things for them to do.
and then some don’t really like arena. While cata is not liked I will admit to some curiosity about RBG. Arena to some is like…doing a poop quest.
its a crap quest, literally, but you need the reward. you’d not be there otherwise.
Cata with RBG, gives rated options. to some the preferrred options. I’d see many in cata RBG as priority with arena to fill in dead time. or, hell, they RBG log it like raid loggers do lol.
