There is TOO much RNG, and almost impossible to deal with dispelling mechanics when you have dispell them or heal, it’s too comp-dependent; and RNG based. Sometimes you get ghosts in the back of the room around a pill and nearly impossible to see. Please figure out a way on this. The hover macro doesn’t work, and sometimes miss if ppl are moving around. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

Think about Timeways boss in Dawn of the infinite and 3rd boss on ToTT. tell me how that’s not an issue with Afflicted. (please think from Healer perspective). Unless you’re overpowered for the dungeon and party is just not taking damage at all, it’s physically impossible to heal one, dispell, the other AND dispell major dots/debuffs from wiping the game.

It’s incredibly hard as a resto druid, who has to use Regrowth 5 times to heal a 5 second cast (or 4 times w/ Swiftemnd if available). It takes a while to even find them sometimes let alone if behind a pillar, or LOS’ed by something. Or it spawns in middle of bunch of mobs that you can’t click them.

I had one spawn inside a tree in everbloom or whatever its called

Healer did a 360 around the tree and couldn’t cast on it once

That was about the only time we’ve had a huge problem with afflicted

it is. not everyone can dispell and it’s nearly impossible to dispell a large debuff. too RNG/comp-dependent, and that blows. I would like both enemy and friendly dispels to be off the GCD for everyone in pve

As a healer main, I find volcanic and storming much more disruptive than afflicted.

You’re probably not the only dispeller then or doing low-keys

if no LOS they don’t matter. the ability won’t hit you. if it hits you, you were in LOS.

I’d be cool if the range they can spawn at was reduced or be forced to spawn in LoS

It’s not a hooorrrriible affix, but it could be less annoying at times

yes, i use it but half the time, i’m yelling to myself. “WHERE IS IT” . WHERE IS IT?! WHERE’s The 2nd ONE? and by then it’s too late.

I’ve been in groups with multiple dispellers and some of them still don’t get them consistently, leaving me to either get both or they go off. This week would’ve been a great push week for me if I had the motivation to play, something afflicted had no bearing on.

Well, i’m talking about keys where if you dont’ dispell someone within 2seconds, they will die. So you have to prioritize that over afflicted. so you can see how hard it gets as a resto druid.

They telegraph where theyre gonna spawn and then have a 10 second cast time.

This screams “i have horrible situational awareness and i blame the game”
