If rets and evokers can 1 shot people, then i have no problem with a warlock doing it.

If an aff lock hits you with Soul Rot and then a deathbolt with no other dots up, it bugs and the deathbolt does like 750k-2M damage.
Seen multiple videos of people being insta 1-shot in solo shuffs.
I say exploit early and often because blizz rarely takes disciplinary action after they hotfix something unless you really abuse it…so if you have an aff lock, get that free MMR while you can

If you’re playing hands down the strongest ranged class in arena… arguably the strongest dps class in arena with Demo…

ohhhhh. hm. that explains a few things. i mostly play rsham lately and the other day, there was a lock my team vs’d who was acting damn weird. running around pillars in odd ways, he seemed to be looking for/waiting for something. it was super strange.
he may have been waiting on what you describe, but then my warrior finally connected and put his sword up the dudes a ss sideways. it was great. the lock died harder than david caruso’s career.
so the takeaway i guess is, yeah dmg is still stupid, buff HP across the board imo.

Warriors can also spell reflect the deathbolt to 1 shot the lock, too.

If you think about it, they both are the same thing. The end result is the person who dies is being grieved. Rogues have been causing grief for 15 years and they still aren’t banned so why should the warlock? Its just interesting use of game mechanics.
That’s some Olympic gold-winning level mental gymnastics you’re engaging in to justify an obvious exploit.

Being hit for 3 million damage isn’t the same thing as dying in 2 globals to abilities critting.

It is exactly the same whether creative use of game mechanics or poorly balanced classes. Ultimately, the person on the receiving end dies without any chance of countering the damage while the person dishing out the punishment just sits back and laughs.
