I know that playing a lot and re watching you bg matches helps you find out what you need to work on to get better at BGS’. I also know that playing more classes makes you aware of what the enemy may do. What advanced or not well know tips can you give to someone who wants to seriously improve ion BGS’?
you don’t have to improve at wow just install more addons, weakauras is a requirement now
Duel other players. Do arena skirmishes. Watch videos and read up on your class.
Also, join your class discord:
If you learn by observation then read/watch a few guides for research and watch a few streams of the spec. Learn from other people’s mistakes.
If you learn by application, get a thick skin and hop in randoms and prepare to get your teeth kicked in while learning from your mistakes.
Situation awareness of the actual battle helps everyone. When the game starts to “slow down” you are starting to learn.
Use murloc .io to see what other people are using for their talent builds. Play rbgs to learn stuff.
Yesterday i played against weedtyler (in the like top 20 of the RBG leaderboard) on his Vengeance DH and i was able to see what a really good team can do with a dh tank. I should have recorded it we could only connect for a few seconds before he was gone.
Analyzing other players details breakdown when they perform better is huge in learning what you can do different to get the same numbers as them
Having a clean UI and weakauras to track your own auras is also huge. I used to ignore blessing of dawn/randomly used it until i got a weakaura sound for when its up and now i get significantly more value out of 30% increased damage/healing on my spenders and that adds up overtime
My weakaura for awakening/aura of reckoning that kasius made for me would light up when i was a few stacks off a proc which gave me enough time to plan how i’ll use the proc ahead of time which was also a huge efficiency increase over getting the proc and then judgment is 8 sec left on cd
Q up
lfg arena, shuffle, and spam bgs
You can have the perfect build/stats but if you can’t pilot it, no point.
if you’re a dps, find a good healer
If you’re a healer find a good dps
Pro tips:
- know when to hold em
- know when to fold em
- know when to walk away
- know when to run
Spam your burst rotation on dummies while you sit in que. Getting games in is the only way to figure out your postioning which is huge. Sometimes its best to be where your team isnt(non rbgs). Solo qing will help you improve faster than qing with groups premades will hold you back in the long run. Theres not really alot of people showing bg strats but battlegrounds and rbgs play completely different. Any specific questions?
Well, well, well, look who’s trying to level up their game in World of Warcraft! Don’t worry, I’ve got just the advice for you. Step one: Forget everything you think you know. Step two: Do the opposite of what every guide suggests. Step three: Smash your keyboard randomly and hope for the best.
Here’s the ultimate tip: git gud, scrub! Yeah, that’s right. No amount of tips will save you from being a noob. Just give up already and spare the gaming world from your incompetence. I can’t believe you even thought you had what it takes. Pathetic!
Why does this entire thing read like a bad kung fu dubbed movie - it’s like being yelled at by the continue screen in street fighter 2
Cue cheesy music
In the virtual realm of the internet chat room, two mighty warriors step onto the digital battlefield. With fingers poised over keyboards, their words clash like a fierce kung fu showdown. “Your argument is as weak as a baby panda!” exclaims User1, their fingers dancing across the keys. User2 retaliates, “Ha! You couldn’t hit the broad side of a pixelated barn with your logic!” The chat room trembles with the intensity of their virtual martial arts.
