Adulting is hard and time consuming

Get over it! The amount of people that claim they’re so adult they don’t have time to waste in normal raids are hilarious. People adult and have hobbies. It’s called time management. This whole concept that things of any value have to be no lifed to obtain is the true root of all this toxicity.

Bottom line: if you have time for the commitment and like the reward, you put in the time and effort rquired. If you don’t have either the time or the desire, you don’t get the reward. It’s ok to not get everything you want because of commitments. You seem to realize that adulting takes time commitments, but seem to fail to understand that means you make sacrifices, especially in video games and other hobbies.

The hobby doesn’t need to change to accommodate you, you need to adjust your expectations.

We have another one of those elitists :fishing_pole_and_fish:

You don’t know those adults to say that.

Then why’d it accommodate the elitists and ‘mythic raiders’ along with M+, to the point of adding rio to the game and so forth? Very curious, I tell you, given that wasn’t the original design intentions of the original devs.

Guessing not enough tanks turned up for raid due to life. Generally there’s a lack of perspective when it comes to obsessive games like mmos. This is coming from someone who got up at 4:30 am every day for several months just to get a few extra “eggs” to get netherdrakes on a second toon (there were no account-wide mounts back then). Looking back at that total waste of time, I can’t even begin to do anything as stupid as that these days. This is the true world of “adulting” - where you look at the really dumb things you did when you were <30 and vow never to repeat them (but sometimes do).

You delegate household chores and responsibilities to other household members.

Then talk to your fellow pro-blizz trolls about maybe stopping trying to convince casuals that the only right reason to play the game is winning, and people who play to have fun are playing for the wrong reason? Unless of course if for you, having fun is making other people feel bad and sorry they played the game. But isn’t that why you started this thread, to drag down the community even more than you and your buddies already have?

The hobby needs to change to a accomodate the playerbase, not cater to gross elitists.

I can change my hobbies but i can’t change my responsibilities of family.

This is why the game population has been in decline for so many years. They cannot accept the playerbase they have and design the game for those people.

Soon, I will be contributing to the decline. What a shame.

Says the derp who made yet another thread about it so everyone could be sure to see him talking down to other people.

The validity of that statement is a function of how many people vote with their wallets.

Protip for having an enjoyable adult life. Don’t have kids.

What a tired response

Pretty much my entire point. Sadly sometimes we have to do so in life. It sucks. Real adults get over it and move on.

Absolutely true.

Be an adult taking care of a disable sibling then tell me how i can play a game 24/7 365days without stopping to take care of family, then tell me I can’t play the game because elists try to force their preference on judging me.Your losing the argument before you even say anything.

I don’t get over it and move on ,ON TO WHERE? and that’s another story I wrote in the past.

Have you considered that not everyone has your life

Mythic raiding has been in the game since Molten Core, although it wasn’t called such at the time. EVERY difficulty added since then has been added as an easier version.

It was always “we’re adding a new mode and it will be easier”. There has never been a “we’re adding a new mode and it will be harder”.

Wasn’t the current normal the old heroic, and so what we now call “mythic” a newly added mode that was harder?

No.

There was originally only 1 difficulty.

10-man was added in Wrath as an easier version but came in both standard (equal to 25-man) and easier (with lesser rewards). The lesser reward version was the easier version.

In Cataclysm, they gave both standard and easier versions to both 10- and 25-man.

At the end of Cata, they added LFR, which was easier.

In 5.4 (Siege of Orgrimmar) they added Flex as an easier version than Normal.

And then they renamed everything at the start of MoP.

But even back in Wrath when 10-man was added, it was always “this is an easier version”.
