Its just matter of fact really.
They dont do 2% buffs every 2 weeks for 8 weeks to get you your 8% aura buff. They slap it on in one go.
You were wrong. Higher end players deal with balancing shifts/changes a lot more than your go to delver

Me playing at a higher level doesn’t change the fact you don’t know what you’re talking about.
I have literally explained it to you twice and you still aren’t understanding it.
Thanks for proving my point.
Also most solo players probably play the game more than I do as I average 60+ hours a week at work.
I’m just not trash at the game
Not my fault you can’t handle facts.
Don’t forget, 60% increased damage taken AND 20% less health at the same time
Least now they giving out free sparks, but come on, Blizzard, 3.8k posts, and for Delves, so fare has been one hotfix that still doesn’t help while healing this useless tank you give us to use.
Season 1: Delves are tedious and take forever, and the rewards don’t seem to justify the tedium. Stopped engaging with the system.
Season 2, week 1: Delves are interesting and worth actually doing progression on. Able to level Brann and feel like I actually want to do them.
Season 2, week 2 (and counting): Delves are tedious and take forever, are way more stressful, and the rewards don’t seem to justify the frustration. Stopped engaging with the system.
I seem to be thinking crazy in that I shouldn’t have to go in there with a spec I don’t like and don’t use to make this system bearable. Guess it’s time to go back to ignoring them.
Me making fun of Underlord Vik’tis.
Because that isn’t why they made these changes. That is why we have all the contradictory statements from the blue posts, that was just gaslighting because they don’t want to admit they needed to get healers out of delves and back into M+ before the whole M+ pug scene collapsed under the weight of healers having something fun to do.
Follower dungeons are right there and check all your boxes for “fun”. Go do those
^ Not trolling btw.
‘Fun’ was in the blue post in case you wondered.
If it’s going to be in the game it should be competitive with the alternatives. Tank brann is so far below other options now that you have to be a masochist to choose it.
Post nerf Tank Brann > DPS Brann as a healer still.
Fun is based around game play. There is no game play watching the AI do everything for you while you just follow behind him
I think this is debatable.
The PAC curio makes DPS Brann do passable damage. If you’re comfortable tanking while doing damage and healing yourself, DPS Brann is a pretty good option. If you’re facing a boss that doesn’t melee much, DPS Brann is the clear choice. On heavy melee encounters, yeah Tank Brann probably still wins… but this season T11 mobs/bosses do reasonable damage. Doing waxface T11 as a resto druid last season was painful.
I also suspect that Tank Brann will get better as your gear gets better because you’ll just pull tons of stuff an heal him through it via heal->dmg conversion. But right now (at least at my gear level) the two options are pretty interchangeable.
Sometimes that’s true but it’s not universally true.
If you can survive without him DPS Brann can be better because you don’t have to heal him at all and can focus on other things (and he has an execute). A priest with a decent elite MC especially doesn’t really need tank Brann all the time. They can also fade.
I prefer he takes the smackings. Hit for hit he absorbs them better than i do
Well it seems they must have done something.
They fixed the scaling of the journal so now it scales up to level 80. Currently my Brann is at level 79 and has 79% increased hp and healing received. I think they also scaled back the amount of damage he takes while in tank mode. Either that or the gear upgrades my priest has received since last night.
Ok so you weren’t overgeared then , but you were still used to play at higher difficulty levels than any solo player. People play solo for multitudes of reasons including disability and other health related reasons. For them maybe a +5 delve is difficult when you will say an 11 is easy. Doesn’t change the fact delves weren’t meant for you , due to you being accustomed to higher difficulty levels and will be biased.
Delves are extremly limited on pieces of gear they can get in a season at those levels so again it still has zero affect on you.
It’s not about equality , solo players are limited in chances for gear compared to a M+ or raider. Vault can be consistently bad and give a cloak or the same trinket 3-4 weeks in a row eliminating chances of getting full hero sets by season end.
Which is why I was saying so what if they get the gear if they can’t upgrade it with limited crests why are you crying about it?
I’m assuming it’s the gear, because I just attempted a delve two levels lower than I am capable of/have unlocked (and below what the ‘recommended’ item level is) and he still gets absolutely melted on even the smallest trash packs (and bonus points for his propensity to chain pull no matter how careful I am). My item level is 638, so it’s not like I’m in greens, but I also haven’t received any gear upgrades since the last time I tested.
It’s still just not even worth the frustration, even on lower tiers to get him leveled more.
PS: he really is a lot tankier as DPS. It’s kind of funny, but also sad.
I’m sorry people have disabilities but you can’t balance a game around them. The difficulty for gear needs to be the same when the gear is the same.
You don’t have a dumbed down easy version of the game offering the same rewards as medium difficulty content.
Delves have two guaranteed hero pieces a week.
It’s about equality of reward difficulty. You having less chances at gear because you refuse to do group content is your decision and you can deal with it.
Poor rng affects everyone.y guild literally had 3 mystic tokens drop in two weeks.
That’s their personal problem. They chose to limit themselves to only solo content in a group based game. I have zero sympathy
Even early in the week some things just don’t hit him as hard as others, but I do think they may have changed some things without mentioning it. They fixed the mechasaur bug that summoned a lot at once I think since it hasn’t happened in a couple days. The Earthcrawl mine carts don’t one shot him in 11s (they didn’t last week either but then they did the 65% damage increase).
I didn’t notice in the journal it shows him getting a health bonus from leveling. It’s kind of minor at 1% per level. He also seems to inherit some amount of your stamina which seems to be why a tank using a tank Brann gives him the most health (not that there’s much reason to do that).
this is such a weird conspiracy theory you keep peddling.
They lowered the damage he takes from AoE effects since they cant really make him dodge every mechanic. EM carts fall under that category
