Addressing the "unintended?" nerf to feral powershifting

I don’t really understand the decision to deliberately go against what the community seems to want. I get that this was how it worked at the end of TBC (even if it may have been an unintentional bug). But we’ve already seen that we are not playing the authentic TBC game: we have seal twisting. We have boosts. We have Seal of Blood. We have changes all over. This is a change that would make the community happy and the game more fun. But the line in the sand has been drawn: this is where “changes” should not happen. Instead, the decision is made to adopt the less fun, clunky mechanic. Who plays a game to have fun, anyway?

The way you’re wording this is misleading, though.

We spent more time in TBC with energy like this, than without before they changed it. Saying “the end of TBC” implies it was a last minute change at the very tail end of the expansion, and it wasn’t.

no reason not to fix this…lets go Blizz boys

I think the most frustrating part about it is the double standard. They’ve changed it to how energy regen was in 2.4.3, which is fine if that’s the route they want to go, but then they need to remove seal twisting and the other little tweaks they put in to benefit other classes that weren’t there originally.

Waiting blizzard! the feral community is hopeful we will receive some feedback!

The classic feral discord is a shining beacon of unity right now. together, we are strong <3

Isn’t “powershifting” itself an unintended playstyle? Why is it up to blizzard to make your fringe playstyle functional? Not every class can deal the top DPS but that doesn’t mean it’s “unviable” druids can do a ton of stuff besides tunnel vision a boss…

We can only assume that it’s intended gameplay as they gave druids both a talent and a helmet that provide energy/rage when shifting into form.

listen bear is strong and well cat is feels bad

You’re reading too much into my language. I just meant the end of TBC in reference to the fact that classic TBC is based on 2.4.3. My point remains otherwise.

btw the whole biss list turn on is head with strength being no longer part of heart of the wild

Hoping we can see some feedback!

well cm only say what the dev tell them and if they dont know they know.

I personnally test it myself and i barelly do more dps than on classic. That make no sense when you count that shred almost do 60 % more damage

I’m going resto for TBC but I played cat throughout vanilla classic. If this doesn’t get fixed it’s not looking good for the future of cat raiding :frowning:

Still hopeful we will get addressed <3

Furor and Wolfshead Helm were both put into the game intentionally by Blizzard.

Like what, pop out of form and throw a weakass heal that costs 25% of your mana because you have no int?

“hybrids” are not really a thing in TBC.

Blizzard, we still think we’re gonna get feedback… what’s going on? You guys have addressed the dungeon limit, sonydigitals warrior post, and countless other things today…

Are we all really just wasting our time? Trying to be constructive and believe that posting here can be worthwhile

I don’t really care for PvE as I’ve never been a tryhard for a parse.

But these buffs and nerfs are hurting my pvp experience. Im still salty about the warrior charge change with them already being so strong in classic

Powershifting? You mean expending all your energy then popping out and back into catform to take advantage of furor? That thing that’s been there since Vanilla? Please explain what’s unintended about it.
