It must be a fad today to twist things into something entirely different than what was said.
I’m not even sure how you got that out of what I said.

I’m not. It’s typical Blizzard debauchery at the cost of subscriptions. This company has not a clue what it’s player base wants. They can’t give the player base what they want (across all spectrums). They have made it clear over the past several years that the only thing they care about is money. Of course that is the bottom line of a business, but they have forgotten anything else (especially how to keep players subscribed). I got 18 days left and then I’ll find another game (until I see irrefutable proof that this game is good again).
Yes they do. Just because YOU didn’t want the mage tower doesn’t mean the rest of the player base didn’t.
A lot of the player base is happy with the content. If it’s not for you, don’t do it and do content that you enjoy instead.
They already have that. It’s called beta testers. Blizzard doesn’t care about feedback. It is entirely obvious throughout years and years of ignored feedback from the beta posters.
CM’s are busy with twitter and other social media platforms. Blizzard shows it’s true color by ignoring it’s own damn forums.
I’m speaking of our discussions here and the feedback that needs to happen with CMs. Not what should have happened before.
You’re a bit “special”, aren’t you? I do want the mage tower. What kind of simple minded thought brought you to that conclusion?
Even more are gone because of this garbage expansion. Nice thought, but you failed in making a point.
Oh geez… I never thought about that. Someone get this man a Nobel peace prize for his outstanding contributions to the category of “obvious”.
If they listened to the beta testers, the threads would be few and far in between. I’m not trying to make the posts here inconsequential, I’m showing you that Blizzard has those posts beforehand and ignores them. We simply become an echo chamber.
I’ll refer back to what I already said, as your complaint is now moot and we’re here at this point now and not that one.
I haven’t logged in since I completed the mage towers I wanted a couple weeks ago. This is probably why they don’t want it to be easy, lol.
Read about the PTR or even participate on it. It just sound unbelievable to me that if you are a casual player you are going to know what is going on the PTR and that you were “baited” by the last minute changes the MT got.
When the vast majority of the player base never even visit a WoW related forum in the first place.
Thats true and thats why you cant use it in a discussion/arguement because you dont know what they want or not .
Am I the only one, it seems, in 7.3, who had toons in blues, crappy leggos and barely any artifact power? I didn’t “rOfL fAcErOlL” it. I did some alts in the MT and it was still hard.
Idk. I understand needing to vent and being frustrated - I sure was with the MT this go around. But, you learn the dance and what you need to do.
Honestly, all of the bickering, “noise” and ppl’s different opinions have made me realize I just don’t give a damn. The forums are just a headache rn.
Yes, a single AP token in 7.3 opened like 90% of your weapon right there. In 7.3.5 everyone just dinged with a fully empowered weapon.
One of my biggest things with Mage Tower is the mount reward for doing 7 of the challenges.
Who thought this up? I know quite a few people who only play one class as their main since forever or others who have the scattered alt they hop on but don’t care to play or level to max each expac.
If it weren’t tuned this tight, it wouldn’t be much of an issue.
Nope, my DK struggled a lot weeks and weeks of agony during legion. This time around my DK took way less time.
My priest two shotted it in legion, but took over 200 tries this time around (carried by gear for sure).
devs that want you to level more toons >> to spend more time in game >> to pay them more money.
Yeah that usually happens when you burn yourself out on something. That’s what happens every time before I stop playing and skip an expac, or even mid expac.
Apparently other people are also burned out by this. I hope Blizzard is “happy” with the result and their toxic gameplay culture. Players have warned them and yet again they ignored the signs.

I appreciate you trying to be objective and cover both sides of the “debate” but this is really a situation where not every side deserves equal coverage. Case in point:
These are all reasonable demands that are both centered in reality and take into account the well established precedent of Timewalking content which has historically almost universally been easier than when the content was current.
Whereas as these are the personal views of players who are frankly so embittered by the whole experience that they can’t stomach the idea of anyone else obtaining the rewards without going through the absolute torture that they themselves experienced when they did the current overtuned version.
That’s really all that’s been going on here and it’s really not a debate. It’s just sad.
