I’ve already explained what accessible means and why it is different to difficulty. Several times.
You’ve quoted a dictionary definition of accessible which confirms my definition and seemingly still don’t understand why your usage of the word is incorrect. Not much more I can do except pity the victims of the US public education system.
No, for the current release, as Legion Timewalking and Mage Tower made up a significant portion of playable content.
I would say that it is not unreasonable for expectations to be based on PTR, past experience, and guides based on tested content…?
You seem rather narcissistic in first demanding others conform to your usage of particular terms, and now seem to view your explanations as beyond doubt, when you fail to realize the point of contention is your flawed explanation.
Let’s make the Mage Tower “able to be easily got or used”, is a rather obvious sentence isn’t it? Making the Mage Tower easier to be used doesn’t have much wiggle room.
Cute, but unfortunately ironic considering I’m not American.
What you’re doing here is a strawman. People say accessible in the wider definition of the word, one which includes difficulty, you come in, claim the word accessible means something different and then argue everyone else is wrong.
I was about to leave it at that, but I’m bored. So, Cambridge not good enough I suppose. Name your source. I don’t need every dictionary, just one. Wait, does that mean Oxford and Webster’s out too? Alright.
Cambridge is fine, if that’s the one you already posted. The issue that you’re reading the definition and still not understanding why it’s proving you wrong. Reading another dictionary won’t rectify that.
How were they to know what type of players were going to resub? The only people that were affected by the change were those who attempted it in the PTR. So that doesn’t really make sense. Anyone coming back didn’t know what level of difficulty to expect. So how exactly was this :
What you want it to mean is one thing, what people are correctly using it as is another. You arguing your point against something people aren’t saying is a strawman.
So maybe tone down the insults which are against the forum CoC.
Okay, this is devolving at a rapid rate. If I could kindly ask that we stop arguing over nothing in particular. I regret my role in encouraging it, but you guys are free to bring it to private messages.
I mean… I don’t disagree, but I’m really amazed that there are still people who believe in community managers and devolopers to do the right thing and jump into dialogue with players. That’s not going to happen. They’re just waiting it out until the outrage and the discussions slowly start to vanish.
Blizzard f’d up with this, balance-wise, communication-wise and they failed the playerbase again in times of desperate need of content. They won’t admit that, otherwise they would’ve already issued statements and DONE something about it.
I personally don’t want to see the challenge nerfed into the ground but as far as I remember it, the tuning on the PTR was okay, until they decided, out of the blue, hours before launch, that it would be a great idea to just slap some huge numbers onto the bosses and mobs in the challenges. Still the tuning is so bad that some challenges with certain specs can be done even by more casual players and other specs get their butt handed to them, even as someone who knows their class really well. That’s not right and Blizzard doesn’t seem to acknowledge this or find the right points where to begin with tuning.
So what is needed on the forums is harsh censorship to prevent statements of opinion you disagree with?
I’m sure it will come to that. Will they let you continue to post after the forum is fully converted into one where only employees and PR contractors post?
Don’t worry, I didn’t mean it. I personally lost hope, but it’s great that you come forward with such constructive positivity and point out what needs to be done in a polite manner!
