I used curseforge to install a number of addons:
Pawn, Kui nameplates, mapster, scrap, pawn, questie.
Even though they’re all 2.5.1… says they’re out of date. I updated directly through curseforge. I’m really confused…
Make sure you check the “load out of date addons” button. If you end up having any conflicts, you’ll have to load them one at a time to figure out which one isn’t working. This last patch didn’t break any of the addons I use, so I haven’t updated them yet, including:
- Questie
- Armory
- Item Rack
- Trinket Menu
- Atlas Loot
- Bagnon
- Classic Castbars
- Clique
- Weak Auras
- Recount
- and more!
Wowup is a little better than Curseforge because it checks more places for updates
Besides that, just ignore the warnings and load out of date addons. If one throws too many errors, disable it then until they fix.
2.5.1 to 2.5.2 is really just a little text change in the TOC anyway
