There is a difference between having an advantage and having an unfair advantage.
That’s not to say that some add-ons don’t toe the line, but don’t pretend like Team Ability Tracker is some kind of rating steroid.

Not really sure how much rating addons get a player. What i do know is a player with addons has an advantage over a player who does not have them

A player with a gaming rig and an MMO mouse has an advantage over someone playing on a laptop with a track pad.
Advantage is relative, hence you have to qualify what is fair and unfair.

After 20 years, blizzard doesn’t have a way to track DRs built into the game. More of an issue with blizzard not keeping up, not with add-ons. It is nice seeing that they’ve basically implemented bartender though.

Yes completely ignore all other specs and classes to play the exact same one, that’s totally the same thing as downloading an addon
Its like one of those “beat a game” buttons.
