Well it certainly can be annoying.
It is useful though for the healer so the DPS cant place full blame on the healer though 
I don’t think that is why people run it lol. You can always look up who took the most damage on your meters, ain’t nobody gotta shame people about it.
You don’t like your name showing up on it? Try learning mechanics.

Do what. Is this new? Can we stop acting like Mythic+ pre 15 is hard? If someone tries to shame you in one of those your response should genuinely be laughter.
It helps though. If you see announce someone is taking unnecessary damage and you wipe you can tell them how to avoid it. Criticism doesn’t have to be insulting, it can be helpful.

Yeah, but if you’re playing badly already, you probably already know it. Having someone call you out about it is just gonna tilt you.
It doesn’t create a situation where you play better. It’s just a bad addon.

That’s not always true. If I am doing something wrong I like to know so I can correct it.
I had a tank constantly not moving things out of sanguine last week. I messaged and explained why the stuff was healing. They fixed it. I think being rude about it like “yo idiot don’t stand in the %{^{^ you dumb ^}}” isn’t going to be productive. Being helpful is

Yeah but if you’re in a situation where you’re doing something with people in real life right.
And you got one guy in the group critiquing everything you do, when you’re just tryna have fun, you’re not gonna wanna do that activity with that person again unless they’re really kind in how they critique you.
The addon is pretty rude imo.

I don’t find it helpful though.
Like I was just on an alt, and I kept messing up and getting hit by easy mechanics. This guys addon is blowing up. Then at the end spits out a report card and is like publicly shaming me for playing poorly.
I’m like. My guy.
I know I did bad. I know how to dodge those things. I’m half blind and sometimes I don’t see stuff on the ground. I’m old, sometimes I don’t react fast enough. You don’t have to put me on blast like that. Now I’m not having any fun cause this guy is over here judging me in a +2, and all I wanna do is mute the guy.
I don’t care if people wanna run those addons quietly to themselves, but I don’t wanna see it in chat. If I do something that wipes the group, just be a decent human being and take the time to tell me what I did wrong… but putting it all out in public is just mean.
I got anxiety IRL, I don’t play the game for people to give me more anxiety lol.

I love when people have this addon. I can compare how I did to how I normally do, and to the rest of the group. How are they toxic? If you have a number that is huge, as in you failed many many mechanics, then it gives you something to improve off of. If your goal is to clear content and win in this video game, then you should enjoy the addon.

The toxic part is that their addon calls you out in chat.
If I wanted something like that, I’d run the addon myself for me to see.
