I don’t mind it. When you have many people with the addon, I imagine that the spam can be annoying.
It’s not intended to make you happy, it’s intended to make you better, which will make everyone else happy.

Because the addon is worthless and doesn’t actually help anyone. It just creates spam. I sure learned a lot having to walk through sanguine on this tight hallway to get to the other side and the addon spamming 5 messages.

I like to try and win the most damage taken.
I could see that and i never knew the name of that addon. It helps me cause where my eyesight is bad and if my other addon doesnt go off, it lets me know im standing in stuff.

I don’t personally use it but like I said it can be annoying.
It probably does matter a lot on the context too. Am I running a +4? Am I pushing my first 10? Going for 20s? Only time I have ever seen it in lower keys is if someone forgot to turn it off. Most of the time getting hit by anything in lower level dungeons (or Raids) is inconsequential.
I feel your anxiety, I get anxious all the time as well even when I am overqualified for whatever it is. If the Addon is really getting to you then just ask if they can turn it off, again most people (especially lower end stuff) arent meaning to be rude by having it on.

They should start giving non permanent achievements. Most damage done, most damage taken, most deaths, etc

The name of the addon is essentially a slur. Like “noob blocker”, the embarrassing addon they got removed.
It’s not about causing anxiety. Don’t take it so serious. Helpful criticism is to help you not make you feel bad or overwhelmed. If someone is making you feel bad you shouldn’t be playing with them

It calls everyone out though. Unless somebody had 0 failure damage, which in my experience is relatively rare. I am talking about the addon that makes a summary that is posted at the end, not the ones that spam the entire run, which are annoying. I’ve also never seen anyone actually berated over it regardless of the amount of failure damage was taken.

Saying don’t take it seriously is like saying just stop having anxiety… like I can’t help it man. And my friends don’t run the addon, its always pugs.

If it causes you significant discomfort due to anxiety, I would just close my chat box. Unless you believe you can find a way to overcome the feeling of anxiety, that may be the only option that helps you.

I might look for an addon that block EH from showing up in my chat though. That’d actually help some.
Sorry but nope. People taking mass amounts of avoidable damage is toxic.
I was forced to download this addon when I started to heal pugs. If you don’t like the add-on calling you out, you need to stop taking avoidable damage.

I meant at the end of the run specifically, like you could close it right before last boss dies when the addon posts the results. You could also look for an addon to block it.
Apparently Badboy_CCleaner might be able to filter it out of chat… I’ma try that.
