Are there any addons that automatically hide the UI when it’s not being used, or when out of combat? I’m walking around Zangarmarsh and it’s converting me into the kind of player that wants to just lose myself in the environment.
I couldn’t find any on CurseForge or anything.
ALT+Z or CTRL+Z.
You could make your entire UI out of weakauras and have those load only in combat.
That isn’t automatic. 
I think you can do this with ElvUI. Profile I found auto hides the character pictures when not in combat, I also see in the action bars a way to set the visibility of each action bar to just show in combat. Should try messing around with it.
I actually tried to write one that does this but it ended up being too buggy to use in practice because there’s so many weird events that fire and cases where Blizzard blocks updating attributes of certain frames after you’ve entered combat.
I’m sure it would be possible with a lot of patience sorting out all the annoying edge cases but I gave up on it.
