Addon supported loot systems

Our dkp addon has been unreliable. Looking for something that has addon support. Just looking for ideas…

Also looking for reliable dkp addons that have been solid.

Most of the GDKP addons work just fine.

dunno what you’d call it, but loot council, just done in advance. you can do it all on a spreadsheet, or there’s a website that can do it for you now. There’s still room for shady stuff, but there’s that in any system. This way it’s all out there and visible for all your members to comment on and track.

DKP is by far the best system but support is low atm.

KSK (not a point system keep in mind) is fully add-on controlled. Might be worth taking a look at.

Theres also a system called Onslaught, everyone in raid at the start of a phase or start of a set period of time (month, 3 months etc) submits their own loot prio list and loot is distributed accordingly, with rolls for ties.

Basically a modified loot council.

Also something to look into.

We use CEPGP.

This is a decent system so long as you implement decay appropriately.

Was talking about some different loot systems this weekend with guildies when one mentioned this system. Onslaught seems fair and makes sense. You know where the loot goes the moment it drops so it makes distributing gear easy and people know when it’s their turn for an item when it drops. It takes out possible corruption of LC and there’s no DKP hoarding or bidding up guildies. Seems like a good, drama free system.

I get that you’ve probably been hurt in the past and you might have really bad taste in guilds, but Loot Council is fantastic as long as you don’t join a raid team where the GM and officers are petulant children. I raided with a guild that used Loot Council for a couple years and they were plenty mature enough to be objective and fair.

It helps if people on the loot council externally use some sort of system to quantify each person’s merit more objectively.

This is very true. It is also very, very hard to find. Without my great guild I would not be playing this game at all.

Totally understand and agree with this sentiment. I don’t get why there are so many people out there who will raid with (and therefore give power to) shady guilds full of people who only care about themselves. People treat this game far too much like it’s a job.
