Does anyone have an addon that will /assist a nearby friendly dps?

Maybe something that would be smart. Something that would know which dps friendly are in range and would be able to consistently pick a good person to assist. Ideally the whole team would use this addon and for each fight within the bg your team could use this addon / macro to target the same player.

Really it wouldn’t have to be perfect. It’s better to have your whole team focus a non-optimal target then have everyone attack random people.

I think the built-in ping system is actually being used for target calling in blitz games. Also I usually keep an eye on BGE to see who my teammates are hitting. It’s interesting to notice that once a target has two people on them, the rest of the team usually swarms in and it quickly rises to 4 or more.

I have a /yell and /ping macro I use in blitz and people just don’t pay attention.
