lol, here’s an idea you go spam your addon on your server and get a bunch of people to report you and then after you get auto silenced appeal and tell us if you win your appeal.
I don’t even HAVE the addon. Thanks for proving you’re just here to troll. Flagged again.
Flagged away, you are the one insisting on proof. I don’t use the addon so I can’t give you proof. There are people saying they were silenced on various sites but I seriously doubt you will consider their word proof so personal knowledge is the only proof you will accept. If you want it, it is there for you.
btw, I am getting off here and I can see you typing away for 2 minutes - not going to wait but go ahead.
Asking you for proof to support your claim is not against the forum CoC. They aren’t going to action me. However, since you are trolling…
Then you have no claim.
Considering I’ve asked multiple times, and you haven’t even provided that, no I won’t consider it. Considering at least 2 others have looked and found nothing, I’m tending to believe them. Yor job as the claimant is to provide the proof. It is not my job to prove you right.
There’s no need for you to wait or stay here. You’re just here trolling and that’s really all there is to it.
The logic you use has been used by many to silence posters in the forums who happen to have opinions they want to censor.
You act like chat is being used for anything useful in the first place. At least the addon spams helps people. Cant say that for the actual humans in chat.
And they’ve allowed these addons to exist for over a decade now. So, yeah, I guess your opinion means nothing in this matter.
Right back at you. Try again when you have something coherent to argue about.
As far as I am aware, it isn’t against the rules unless it is the same message repeated at very frequent intervals. For example, someone advertising a paid run every 30 seconds would be considered spamming.
If it is announcements of different rare appearances over the course of play, it isn’t spamming. In fact, I find it very helpful and I really don’t get why anyone would be annoyed about it. It’s intended to be useful and to assist players locate rares. I’m assuming that the Ignore function would still work - so if anyone finds it bothers them they can always put the person making the announcement on Ignore. Or am I wrong there?
Really, there are far more upsetting things said in general and trade than a ‘heads up’ on a rare.
This thread can tell you where to look, I am not going to do your research for you since you want something that to me is of no value anyway.
It is the impact these have on chat.
If 25 people are selling carries and make posts on chat every 2 minutes, no one according to the definitions being given in this thread is spamming, however, the overall impact of that on a chat channel is the feeling of non stop spam.
I have twice encountered today of people trying to have conversations or asking questions and you have addon spam right after and the question and/or conversations are lost.
So where is the proof? Anyone can say there are reports, but that does not confirm the existence thereof. I can say that it’s raining McDonald’s Big Macs, but that doesn’t mean it actually is.
If something is of no value to you, then you shouldn’t care that it stays. You have options, make use of them.
Human Male Paladins approve of this message. Quit your spammy addons.
I have seen that poster posting on the forum for years. I believe they have seen the posts. If you don’t want to believe, I really don’t care at this point in time.
Well clearly Blizzard sees it as spam as people have reported being silenced over it in game. The addon can get annoying when several people in the zone are using it. I honestly don’t need 10+ people crying out when a rare spawns in Mechagon.
very much so, lol.
Since you haven’t proven your claim, I guess you won’t be responding further, then.
Finally, no more spam.
Well we’d hope so, but then you’re still posting here after admitting you don’t care, so…
Short memory ?
