They were bad enough in s1 the changes in s2 are atrocious being an older person has seriously disabled my ability to play with some help addons
If youâd like to provide feedback, you can do so on the General Forums. Customer Support has no say in the development of the game nor does it pass along feedback.
Please make sure if you do post to provide more info than just you donât like it. You mention accessibility and that is quite big with Blizzard. What specific add-ons and their functions did you use that no long work for their accessibility?
I would also recommend that you reach out to the Accessibility team if you have any accessibility issues with the game.
Blizzard wonât make the needed addons for people with disabilities.
Theyâve taken long enough years to add options that people have been asking for removing addons and making an inferior product.
If you want to give feedback, you can do such in-game using the suggestion box or on the forums. But youâd need to give some ideas, being vague wonât help.
The CS forum isnât able to make chances to the game, nor pass on feedback for players.
Iâm sorry but that is absolutely NOT true. Blizzardâs Accessibility Team is one of the best in the business and have implemented several things to accommodate disabilities. Just recently there was a fight that was causing people with certain visual disabilities to have issues and the team worked with players and got changes implemented as soon as it was possible.
What actual add-ons have they removed that helped those with disabilities? Because I canât think of any. They also implemented the one button rotation to help, not to mention the audio spell and warning system that will announce actions and events in game.
Tools to help with motion sickness while flying, color blindness mode, arachnophobia mode. All things that the Accessibility Team worked to get included in the game.
I think the issue, Draehl, is that add-ons are not made by Blizzard. When there is a major content update (like what happened on Tuesday), add-ons can become a liability until the add-on author updates it.
Several addons have been removed since midnight and has only gotten worse. Forced to close.
and two major ones I used in 12.1
I will be unsubbing ontop of ions comments.
we wonât be putting any more work into PvP was ridiculous.
Okay, maybe the driact route would work better:
What add-ons had been removed that made the game harder to play?
You still have yet to say which particular add-ons are no longer available, or what they were helping you access.
Accessibility is important to Blizzard but they canât read your mind. You can send them examples of what specifically youâd like to see them re-enable for add-on developers to use or create an in-game solution.
There might already be one, but no one is able to help without more details.
Itâs not going to help 99.9% of feedback has ALWAYS fallen into deaf ears.
It takes then months or years to fix things.
Iâll just vote with my money and go elsewhere.
Me saying anything in specific here will not help at all.
Maybe if they backtrack on addon stuff but i doubt it they will tripple down before backtracking.
Iâm done came back after 4/5 years and addon stuff made it impossible to play and they completely killed PvP and no effort into it.
it only took 2 months to see they just keep going downhill
Well seems like youâve made up your mind and donât actually want help. Not sure why you are posting here, as you wonât even say what you have an issue with. There are tons of things in the game that have come directly from feedback and suggestions by the players. One of them would be housing. Also, people are asking what add-ons you are talking about because there really havenât been any add-ons removed that have anything to do with accessibility. In fact, Blizzard has done a ton for accessibility. The other thing is that Blizzard doesnât make add-ons, if an add-on author stops making an add-on Blizzard has nothing to do with that.
Sounds like you just donât like the game anymore and are looking for an excuse to convince yourself to quit. You donât need to do that here, just quit and go play something you enjoy, no one is going to try and stop you. Hope you find something that is enjoyable to you.
If that is your belief, even though there is ample evidence to the contrary, it feels there is little we can say to convince you otherwise. It should be noted that the link I provided is contact point designed for accessibility issues with a dedicated accessibility team. Given your responses it feels unproductive to continue to try, Draehl, so I think weâll end this thread here.
Good luck to you and wherever your gaming takes you.
