hardly. youre the one who cant accept the FACT that yovue been TOLD by that mage players…and me as a shaman player…WILL TANK IF THE CLASS HAD a TANK SPEC.

Yes…bad DPS run tanks off and no, not everyone wants to tank…but absolutely SOME players who main classes that dont have a tank spec WOULD tank at times IF it did have a tank spec.
Thats already been cleared up in here by at least myself as shaman and another player who said he’d tank if he had a mage tank spec.
Instead of new classes I have long been advocating for new specs. Priority going to giving classes access to different roles.

If people know the queue is faster they will queue for it.
For example, if I jump on with an hour to play and the queue is over 30 mins, then I’m not gonna queue. But if one can queue as a tank/dps and the queue becomes <10 mins, then they will likely queue and do a dungeon.
There are people who quit long queues because they just dont have the time.

I play all the tanks, but I’ve gotten tired of most of them. A spicy new tank would encourage me to tank more often.
Ok. And? That only helps my argument. If more classes can queue as tank, then queues for everyone become shorter. Therefore more people are likely to queue for dungeons.
I mean I’m not against having options but to assume everything will be sunshine and roses once everyone can tank is being willfully ignorant.
Just because an idea doesnt fix every problem in the world doesn’t mean its a bad idea.

Scroll up and read my original post in this thread. Blizzard needs to research this and find out if it’s something people want (not just people on the forums cause that’s a small but vocal sub section of the community).
That’s not how it works. Multiple classes can currently do exactly what you are talking about yet…don’t.

And some people don’t play those classes. I know people who have several mages. Or several hunters. Or several rogues. Or combinations of mostly classes that dont heal or tank.
Like, I don’t know why anyone would be against Blizzard exploring this to see if it’s viable - to see if people would want this in #s that would help the queue situation for dps.
For someone who keeps saying we’re missing something, youre not really reading anything in context.
I never said I was against it, I literally said I’m all for options. I’m just saying that nothing will change in the queue front based around how the game is actually designed.
But there are people who have tank specs that ‘do’ so logically, more people with the option means more people that take advantage of the option.
Already multiple examples of people who play pure DPS classes in this thread that said they’d Q up to tank if they had that option on their class and this is a relatively small sample size of the population.
There is no context to read because your points are refuted by precedent.
