Still acts as a gold sink, just all up front instead of over time.
I can’t think of how this would negatively impact the game in any way.

Even in Wrath, you still have choices to make that will affect you later down the line. This is a good thing. Retail’s method of talents, paid or not, does not belong in Wrath.

Eh, don’t see a real downside but honestly seems pointless for most classes.
Any class that can do more than one role would benefit.
Warr: tank, dps, and pvp specs
DK: tank, dps, and pvp specs
Pally: tank, dps, heal, and pvp specs.
Druid: tank, dps, heal, boomy, and pvp specs.
Priest: heal, dps, and pvp specs.
Shammy: heal, dps, and pvp specs.

- It’s nice to have multiple specs, we have dual spec for a reason. Some classes want multiple PvE specs or PvP specs.
- The convenience of not having to manually allocate talents every single time you want to swap.
- The convenience of not having to visit your trainer every single time you want to swap.
- It hurts nothing. All respecs were for is to have a gold sink. You don’t lose that with this - if anything more gold is sunk for the sake of the convenience.

I actually quit at mop. But i started again in legion and stopped at legion after the DH nerf.
No, i will never play retail again. It fell too far off the cliff into no mans land of LGBT dragons and other colorful sh*. They would have to remove the dragons, foxes, pandas, etc to get me to play again. As well as recreating everything they lost in wrath. Which isnt happening, so wrath is the best will get. And once this ends, back to private servers. That is home, that is the real WoW. Not this garbage they wanna put out.
Sounds like you should go back to private servers then. It would be easier for you than constantly telling people to go back to retail.
