the way your interpreting the arms changes is so cracked lmao. executioners precision is tied to well execute…execute is useable once on proc which is EXTREMELY rare to get more than 1 of in a row and below 35%, it is not an overall buff to Mortal strike to have this talent. it is very much “execute failed to kill 2 times and now i hit an MS to keep healing debuff up” so relax. the 2 extra talents do not get arms some insane power they are mostly passive niche picks as described with the one your crying about. the only thing worth any notice is that Overpower got buffed and basically got its own 2set talent, and ignore pain got added to bring arms slightly up to the equivalent of other dps specs. thats it. these forums have seriously overblown the changes coming to arms. with the MS 5% gone and the trinket main stat reduction, a spec like arms that is all about burst windows is not going to be any better than it currently is outside of some SLIGHT increase in survival.

You forgot that the Trinket change nerfs Strength and that stealth nerfs everything else for Ret.
Everyone received that nerf. Ret is not unique in that regard.
Arms is already so good, though. That’s the problem. There are already multiple ways you can play it. You can use executioner. You can use fatality. You can use unhinged. Ignore pain is the big addition here, and if anything it is being understated how massive of an addition it is. Ignore pain makes other absorbs twice as effective. It makes all of the other damage reduction talents and abilities used on you twice as effective. It’s another logical place to spend rage that you want to get rid of anyway for anger management. If all you are looking at is duels on ptr then yes, it doesn’t really look like a huge absorb. It is the way that 50% absorb interacts with everything else that makes it so powerful if even for short periods of time. Arms is already good. It’s not overly squishy. It does not need another mechanic.

its 10 steps backwards actually… devastation is a glass cannon that only truly shines on burst, and now they will nerf such burst and not adress how ridicolous fragile they are.
