Additional armor visual effects

Unlock additional Armor visual effects via the Luminous Nerubian Stone granted with the Elite Feat of Strength.

Anyone else notice this? What is this exactly?

same as dragonflights stones for 2.4 It adds very minimal cosmetic effects. i think the DF ones did things like a tiny lightning effect. or more glow etc. U barely notice

You know how elite/mythic has some extra sparkle visual effects? Like, lighting or fire. This adds it to non-elite/mythic variants so you can have an elite looking LFR or conquest set.

It’s kind of subtle but nice. :dracthyr_heart:

It says this effect is granted from the elite feat of strength…which I’m assuming is given at 2.4 rating? If thats the case you should already have the complete rated elite set which would have been fully unlocked by 1800.

Personally I think this is one of the coolest cosmetic addition to this game in a while.

sometimes LFR or even Heroic Raid gear has the colour scheme I prefer but they look dull because those extra effects are not featured . This basically makes everything in current tier into an elite set when you hit 24 in any bracket (there’s a pve equivalent idk what for tho).

Bonus points for it being account wide can use it on all your alts etc for their sets, not sure how you can hate on this but ok bud.

God loves ya

Yes, but it’s the elite or mythic set effects on non-elite/mythic sets.

Yeah, it’s cool. :dracthyr_love_animated: Kind of funny how it’s usually elite, ksh or ce, though, lmao.

One must surely be cognizant of the resplendent visual effects that embellish elite and mythic sets, such as the ethereal lightning or the incandescent fire. This particular enhancement confers those opulent effects upon the non-elite and non-mythic variants, thereby enabling one to possess an LFR or conquest set of unparalleled grandeur.

It is, indeed, a subtle augmentation, yet it exudes an air of refined sophistication

right…but if it requires you getting 2.4 first, why would you need this anymore? You already have the effect on the set you got. Is it simply to put it on different color scheme variations of the set, like the unrated set, lfr, normal, heroic etc?

Yes.

I wish they’d beef up the particle effects of all this stuff but I am assuming they don’t want to fry the toasters that a majority of the players of this game (?) seems to use to play it

It is crazy how many people I know on toasters who game, half the games I want to play they just cant so they just play WoW.

This was a thing all of dragonflight there’s zero chance you played the expansion and didn’t know about this so here’s your attention op

I’m still waiting for something like this to be announced for SL transmogs, all SL transmogs (Glad/LFR/NM/HC) have these Mythic/Elite variants, for example I’d like to use the SoD NM recolor for plates, but without the Mythic/Elite effects it looks very empty.

A lot of old sets lost their VFX when they implemented the stone in…Crimson, I think? So it’s not outside the realm of possibility they go back and allow people to toggle them. Maybe. :dracthyr_love_animated:

At least I don’t see it as impossible, maybe they don’t do it because they don’t see many people asking for this, but if they can they could implement an achievement that asks for the same requirements, currently these effects you only need to obtain 1 of the 3 achievements (Final Mythic Boss, 2.4k PvP, 2.5k M+), so really anyone should be able to get these effects by defeating the final Mythic Boss of SL raids, absolutely all SL Raid and PvP transmogs have these variants with effects in the database.

We lost WoD and Legion mythic/elite varients of sets for these garbage barely noticable glow effects.
