Yeah because Wrath was going to be the most accessible WoW expac yet at the time.
We’re not there yet.

They added paid 58 boosts to tbc to make the game more accessible.
If they ported over original tbc with no changes, I probably wouldn’t be arguing for dual spec.
The current game is not og tbc.
-People don’t farm gold, they buy it from bots.
-People don’t level, they buy a 58 boost and pay a mage to boost them (with gold bought from real money).
-Arena rating changes locked weapons and shoulders that were accessible to everybody behind a rating requirement.
What are you on?
Wrath came out years ago.
¯_(ツ)_/¯
If you want to interpret that as an opening for dual specs you’re certainly free to do so.
Doesn’t really make your case but you can try, why not?
Dual Spec would allow me to switching between bear-tanking instances and unkillable-healer’ing in battlegrounds, on a whim.
More bears in dungeons, more trees in BGs. I’ll even pay an inflated 5000G for the convenience (because that’s what I’m really after – the convenience).
Wrath came before TBCC
I myself have made the point several times but its not a concept they can grasp.
Right, and Im free to tell you Its just data being interpreted as evidence to fit your theory.
¯_(ツ)_/¯
At least we have it
But you dont have dual specs. Wierd.
This thread is Sweat bait. Gonna see all the same sweats pile in soon and talk about how they love not having stuff.
It’s alright to disagree bro. It’s just my opinion that dual spec would be good for the game.
I feel like I made my position clear on why I think it would help the game and why there is precedent for adding it now before wotlk.
You seem to want as few changes as possible to try to preserve the small amount of original tbc we have left. Completely understandable.
Were you against the same faction bg’s too? Just curious.
Yep! I thought the horde should sleep in the bed they made and I was irked that Blizz bailed them out instead of playing the long game and letting it fix itself organically over time but you did just soak those clowns for lots of cash shop sales so I guess you gotta do something about it.
What theory?
But we didn’t have WoW Classic.
…until we had it.
We didn’t have chrono beacion.
…until we got it.
We didn’t have TBC Classic.
…until we had it.
Alliance didn’t have Seal of the Martyr.
…until they got it.
We didn’t have HvH in Classic.
…until we had it.
We didn’t have Druid Energy fix.
…until we had it.
I almost get the feeling like things that haven’t been implemented yet are not here until they’re implemented. Hence, every single Dual-Spec thread ever made on these forums.
I love how you think this is an “argument.”
OP: “I want Dual Spec!”
Corpseknife: “We don’t have it yet.”
OP: “Uh…I know. That’s why my post exists.”
This is a pretty good summary!
So we’re just supposed to make 50 threads for every topic that doesnt get a definitive answer? time to make 49 more threads for every other topic!
That is correct.
All blizz has to do is one post. I’ll even write the options out for them.
“We hear your concerns about dual spec being added into tbc. After much thought and consideration, we have decided to add dual spec into tbc for 1k gold on [insert date]. This will allow players to move between pve and pvp content with less restrictions.”
OR
“We hear your concerns about dual spec being added into tbc. After much thought and consideration, we have decided to announce that dual spec will not be added into the game until classic wotlk. This is a major quality of life feature that was introduced in wotlk and we feel that it should be introduced in wotlk.”
A little communication from a multi billion dollar company to its paying subscribers doesn’t seem like too much to ask for.
Agreed, a simple statement on these here forums would clear it all up. Then its up to us to decide if playing the game with or without it is up to us. Leaving it just hanging helps no one.
