This is just an unbelievably large leap to make from the words Blizzard gave on increasing heroic difficulty.
“They said they want to make heroics harder…SO THEY’RE PUTTING IN MYTHIC+!!!”
Sorry, but the former part of the statement does not then definitively mean the latter. There’s many things they can do to increase the relevance or difficulty of heroic dungeons that have nothing to do with a greater rift/mythic+ system.
You are all acting like it was confirmed, set-in-stone that they are definitively adding Mythic+ to WOTLK-C and it’s silly, because all you’ve done is made a gigantic assumption based on vague intentions.

I think those titles are actually hyperbole intended to enrage people who read it and spread false rumors. It clearly is not going to be m+, and I find it hard to believe anyone with reading comprehension can come to that conclusion from the blue post.
Also the people posting it are probably vehemently against any changes, and in their eyes any change is as bad as introducing m+.

It’s actually not that far fetched.
I mean their “new” LFG tool is what they have in Retail formatted to Classic.
They already have access to a tool that makes dungeons more challenging. Can you guess what it is?

To be fair, that tool is really helpful and easy to use. I can see why they chose to add it. Most people just use an addon in tbc for finding groups, so them adding that isn’t any different.

Yeah, and the mailbox tech is the same as in retail. So, what?

Since they first talked about it from before TBCC launched that’s all it was ever going to be.
What do you expect? The retail LFG tool works well for what it is.
Lol why are you all coming after me?
I’m just saying how people can read “we’re going to make dungeons more challenging” and equate that to them adding mythic plus.
The LFG tool is an example of that. They didn’t create something new, they just reworked a system they already had.
I believe what it actually shows. People have zero faith in blizzard to not screw up. Once they starting screwing with things they usually end up worse off. Until of course subs drop etc… and they change it again.

im ok with mythic with extra gold / mats for completing it
but Mythic +… that will mess up the entire gearing process so no. definitely NO
Yes, and that’s nothing but conjecture not based on any fact.
It’s most likely going to have some hp and dmg increases to heroics each tier, and drop the most relevant badges + extra Frozen orbs; but full on M+? Not likely.

No… it is. It really really is.
Except it’s not… And it’s still a really stupid comparison. “We got more character slots so we’re getting retail talent trees!!111!” I mean come on…

Wrong comparison by about 100 miles.
If they said they felt like talent trees werent relevant then yeah people could make that leap.

It is. “Challenge” isn’t exclusive to M+.
Because you are incorrect.

This is actually a stupid comparison.
The LFG tool they introduced is similar to a feature we have in Retail so again, it’s not that hard to believe that they would add in other systems similar to what they have in Retail.
Is it going to be a complete 1:1 port, no probably not.
I know… that was the point.
Proceeds to describe the EXACT same comparison…

Correct. No where did they state anything about talent trees being messed with. They did in fact mention heroics.
Oh my… you don’t see how that’s the argument you’re making?
Just because we got one thing that’s from retail does not mean everything will be from retail – especially stuff that directly impacts gameplay.
I definitely get that.
I don’t personally think we’re getting Mythic + but I can see why people are jumping to that.
…because they’re…“lacking”?
I usually assume that others can respond objectively and logically to things.
I did not expect others to not think about Blizzard’s words for even a second and instead, immediately jump to conclusions fueled by their jaded hatred for Blizzard, Retail, and probably Classic as well.
Maybe that’s on me this time.
