Right now the majority of the top healers in Mythic + are Holy Paladins.
If you want to play a male Holy Paladin on Alliance you get to choose between Humans, who look like the missing link. Two dwarf classes and then Draenei.
So particularly if you want to play a male Paladin Alliance side your choices are either a stunty, a russian power lifter or a dude who can pull a car apart with his bare hands because of the size of his forearms.
Can we please have Void Elf / High Elf Paladins so we can enjoy playing one of the competitive classes?
Night Elf Paladin = Moon Knights. (Night Warrior would have perfectly fit them in, but nope)
Void Elf Paladin = A mess, as the forces of light and void explode when combined.
This road goes both ways. It’s easy to blame one side but the grass isn’t greener on the other one. But yes, some Void Elf players are obnoxious at this point.
The whole situation is so stupid. Blizzard should have put helfs from the start. They choose to bring Void Elfs and they didn’t commit to them. It’s bad for both people who wanted helfs and who liked the velfs. They now have this abomination of a race.
It’s bad also for the blood elf. The velf was announced as a compromise for alliance thalassian elf, they were different enough. That difference fades away with every patch.
I feel it will be more sad and the lore will show them mostly as High Elves. Which is too bad because Void Elves added that tint of morally grey the Alliance needed. In BFA they were doing sick things like sending Goblins to outer space in their robots (Which is a horrible, very horrible death) and rising Void tainted dinosaurs.
Sadly, the Void Elf will likely be just like the Void is as a playable power, just a tiny fraction that’s barely portrayed unless it is as an enemy.
