I hate looking like a clown. It would be nice to have more customization options that way I dont have to look like trash.
And the PvP argument against transmog is lame and not valid.

Or how about yes?
No. It’s not needed.
Transmog is one of the cringiest parts of retail, keep it a million miles from classic please
Everytime I look at my TBC Classic characters it’s a reminder of why its needed.
Huh. I would think looking lame is way more cringy.
That’s your opinion and your opinion doesn’t make something a need.
Not sure where you’re getting that information from as a large amount of MMOs have adopted a transmog/dress up system and it is critically received as an overwhelming success no matter what game you go to.
Necessity isn’t… necessary… hrmm… for it to be added to the game. It wasn’t necessary that we got faction seals or that resource regeneration tics were updated to not have an impact across all resources, but we got them anyway.
People need a new term for “things I kinda don’t like I guess” because cringe is getting massively overused. I’m half expecting to see it used to say something is amazing or awesome soon and I’m going to punch someone.
Agreed.
Cringe: to recoil in distaste. It is a fitting word to use because this is what I do when I see retail people chasing aesthetics that mean nothing because they can be applied to any gear. The aesthetics mean nothing because the gear means nothing. It’s all just so… cringey (which means to cause feelings of embarrassment or awkwardness… by the way)
You literally recoil in distaste when you see someone walk by because of…
…what? The gear still means something because it provides the necessary stats to compete and play in this game.
Like I said, cringe is horrendously overused.
You’re a paladin. It comes with the territory. Also you deserve it.
please stop
go play retail. not even kidding, i like the concept of transmog, but not in TBC.
I’d much prefer dual spec but even thats a step too far.
I don’t get this. The gear would still be what it is even if you transmogged a different appears on it.
I used to love the idea of transmog but after seeing what the players will do with it I’ve changed my mind. I would rather group with people in full on clown suits than put up with the train wrecks people call fashion.
For every one person who puts together an outfit that looks good there are 100 people that make something ridiculous to troll everyone else. Or its slooty mogs and those get old just as quick. No thanks.
Retail -> That way
That’s the beauty of TBC, the game reinforces what you are through visuals!
Enjoy.
All these I want this, I want that is exactly what has made retail so horrible. Just play the game as is.
