Given how spec representation is probably more important or relevant that class representation in high end arena, it would be really nice if the main Arena Rankings page not only showed class but spec also.
thatâd be nice but how would you track it if someone for example plays fire and frost equally as much?
or sometimes dabbles in an off spec, when is a spec the âmainâ spec?
I imagine that would be pretty easy for Blizzard to track which spec they majority of their arena wins are played in? It wouldnât be perfect but it would be good enough imo.
I think it would be fine if they just showed whatever spec they last played as in that bracket. It would be accurate for the vast majority of people.
Canât they just add all spec icons with an indicator of % of games played with each spec?
Probably could, but thatâs asking a lot of Blizzard.
If they are already tracking your games, couldnât they keep up with which spec you played it as?
100 Total Games Played
80 fire (50 wins -30 loss)
20 frost (6 wins - 14 loss)
I agree, I think that would be just fine.
They used to do something similar to this. 10 years ago if you went to their armory, clicked their bracket, it not only gave you a breakdown of their games, but you could literally look at the ending stats of every single match they played. Who it was against, who won, how much damage/healing they did, who got killing blows, and even what spec they were in that specific game.
Itâs crazy to see WOTLKs armory had 10x the functionality and data they do now.
You could even personalize your own armory page for others to see.
Could even open up statistics of others to see what arenas they win most in, and lose in, most.
Arena Mate does a good job tracking games played as âXâ spec. If they can pull that info from the Armory I am sure Blizzard can easily provide that info on itâs own ladder.
Blizz doesnât need to do this. You can already do this lol.
Blizz doesnât display games played by spec like Arena Mate does.
Yeah thatâs why I said they donât need to do it because you already can.
Why should people have to go to a 3rd party website to find information that could be readily available at their disposal here?
I guess the same thing could be said about addons, stat weights, guides and strategies. Nevermind.
Because third parties are less likely to skew data. Third parties are unbiased. Third parties donât require man hours to compile all the data and recreate it.
Why do you want it on Blizzâs site?
