She’s replying to your statement that marriage is a “Christian Tradition” by telling you that it’s in fact, not. People have always found a way in history to bind themselves to the people they love. Whether it be through the legal system of their culture & time, the spiritual aspect of their beliefs, or a combination thereof.

It might be helpful if you, and the poster I replied to read what I said about it being the basis for modern ceremonies observed in the Western world. At no point did I say anything about it not being a thing elsewhere or in other religions.

I honestly don’t think this community at large could handle it. Emotional maturity and basic social functionality are not their strengths.

Also there essentially no RPG left in this game so there’s that too.

Your post is right here, and nowhere in it did I see it -

not nit-picking, I’m just saying, you generalized and people of other mindsets included themselves in it. Personally, I’m christian myself, but the truth of the matter is, we didn’t invent marriage. My point is, if you really did mean what you claim, then you didn’t correctly specify that meaning.

The cross faction thing is just because we’re not supposed to. The way I figure, I have a neutral tabard on, so the faction war can kiss my butt.
