Add a LGBT+ pride transmog to the shop

I would buy the pride mog…

They won’t, because China wouldn’t buy it

But mostly likey this

I actually agree with this? I think if you want to quietly express yourself and are willing to support Blizzard creating new content and/or whatever charity they’re giving to in order to do so? I think you should be able to. I’d actually like to see the idea expanded on.

I think it’d be great for actual LGBT’s to see just how accepting the community at large is.

Do it.

Sure, why not.

Coz that is just the right kind of message blizzard wants to send.

Oh geez.

Bugger off with the homophobia already.

Ehhh no. I would be in favour of a rainbow cloak though, they can whip that up in a few minutes and stick it on a vendor for 10s.

Could be a chameleon that keep changing its colours in the rainbow order.

Hasn’t transmog stuff in the shop been a thing before? I have no proof, I’m just having a hard time believing that Blizzard never stumbled onto this idea before.

I probably wouldn’t buy an LGBT transmog on the shop. Oddly enough, I might get one in the FFXIV shop though. But, if there was some sort of quest line or something in game, I would probably do it. I mean, why “OR”, why not “AND”?

if it makes sense in the game world i am for keeping the immersion intact we don’t want this to me like tera mmo with players riding in clown cars and hip hop boom boxes to me an lgbt mog would be on the same level not to hate but it has to work in the game world

The reason I wouldn’t go for this is that there’s no evidence that LBGT individuals face any discrimination in Azeroth. Anytime it’s brought up it’s treated like no big deal and nobody gets uptight about it, so I doubt LGBT pride would exist in a world where they don’t face any unique challenges. I think I prefer it that way.

A charity event would be lovely.

If it did happen, and you had the mog but didn’t have it mogged for pride week because you’re just that cheap, would that be frowned upon or no?

I feel like suggestions like this would get no traction on the forums if it wasn’t for the assumption that a certain segment of people will be triggered by them. I happen to think a charity to help LGBT people would be a really cool thing that is very much needed (with their high suicide rate and all), but I’m afraid any such targeting could be seen as pandering.

TLDR: There might be better ways to do this.

I’m all kinds of LGBT, but that’s a big no. And it opens a floodgate. The “straight pride” trolls would want a flag, then the political parties will want a flag, then the CHURCHES would want a flag. Then companies would want logo flags. Then we can all just argue about who has the best phone. And Azeroth would turn into the word I play Warcraft to get away from.
