Adding a 2nd flight path at the base for Silverwing Sentinels would be about the same as the flight paths the horde have in Ashenvale. That or remove the hordes 2nd flight path completely and make them do a portal quest to that area. Final option, shut down all flight paths in the pvp zone while pvp even is live. Right now the horde has a huge movement bonus over alliance in ashen.
Our “movement” comes from hearthing, which alliance can also do.
I can see the horde flying around its not just hearthing.
the alliance starting in the middle of the map and having way more population than the horde not translating to enough wins for you?
too bad.
you have a very strange view of the map if you think alliance is any where near the middle
Didn’t they add a FP thats right near the entrance to BFD?
near enough to the middle that its a blockade to the horde if they removed the flight paths ya.
i agree which is why a 2nd flight paths would make more sense, why you so afraid to give the alliance an equal playing field?
equal?
ok then make it so that on the layers its the same number of horde on the map as the alliance and it might be more fair.
horde typically have 1 raid at zoram and 2 mid where the alliance has 2 at every boss and can pull other bosses to their general which increases their dps by 25% with the aura.
spare me with the fair nonsense.
Alliance FP and hearth is in the middle, relative the the BFA objectives. For Horde, if you do Zoram objective, run to FP, then fly to Splintertree, by the time you make it to the end boss the event is over lmao
not sure what server you are on but typically the alliance on my server has 2 east and 1 west. I would have no problem if they blocked out the pvp event to 3 raids… you still wont budge on the flight path.
no i wont . there is no need when you are starting closer to the middle.
alliance outnumber the horde heavily and it shows in the win rates that i have watched as ive been in the zone on multiple characters.
rarely do we win as horde due in large part to the sheer number of alliance.
nobody flys the whole way btw. they hearth to the other fp to even have a chance.
i got an idea to make it fair though.
make all bosses have a short leash where if you pull them to far they reset to full hp and track back to the start area for them and dont count as killed.
just watch the horde wipe out all the alliance bosses in under 5 minutes in 2 different pvp events. Want to tell me again how you horde can not manage to do this event faster than the alliance?
you do know the bosses dont just die if they get pulled far from their base. They will just keep attacking so long as someone keeps agro on them. The things you might be seeing disappearing in them battles is the copy images.
That’s using hearth. If they were using flight paths, they wouldn’t even get to their second objective within 5 minutes. You literally just proved my point
The ones flying around miss out on one two of the bosses.
clearly they have 2 different raid groups 2 middle or so 1 west or maybe even 2 west as they are both dead with on a minute of each other so not even hearthing will account for that speed.
Horde pretty much always has 1-2 raids at both Glaive and Runestone(Zoram), once the bosses at these locations are killed we hearth back to Splitertree and hit Research and Moonwell. The only time people will fly is if we got wiped at Zoram and have to get there to kill it, but at that point we’ve pretty much already lost.
Horde bases don’t give them a meaningful advantage in the Ashenvale PvE race.
Flight paths are so slow if you do Zoram and fly to Splintertree the fight is over before you get there. Flight paths offer no meaningful advantage mid-battle. You also do not get credit for Ashenvale if you are on a flight path when it ends.
I do think movement overall made this event suck because getting back to the action as a ghost or moving from one base to another on foot/mount is too slow. While the event is active I think they should give a 100% movement speed buff, stacking with the mount or abilities to everyone in the zone, including ghosts.
then there should be no issue giving the alliance a 2nd flight point.
