Acts Of Kindness

What have you done, recently, that was kind to a player you don’t know? Someone who is not part of your guild, or social circle.

I throw Power Word: Fortitude at literally every allied player I come across. I’ll also heal them up if need be. It’s lovely leveling a priest again. Missed it. Classic FTW.

Didn’t roll against a pug ret on hourglass.

These rets deserve our pity.

That’s nice of you to pass on loot. But, please no shaming for personal choices. This is a positive topic. Thank you.

Maybe pity was a poor choice of words.

These poor rets live with a stigma. I want to help them be the warriors of light they always wanted to be.

I rezzed a stranger to save them the hike back to their corpse.

Also, I always keep an eye out if someone is leveling nearby, to see if they get into trouble. Friendly neighbor policy. I’ll pull an add off them, if it appears they won’t be able to manage it.

And…I always whisper Thank You to people who toss me a random buff.

Lost a dps in Ramps and had s replacement come in after the 1st boss. He needed to kill the 1st boss for the quest. The entire team, all random pugs, went back in and got the boss so he could complete the quest.

It is the path we chose.

Oh, Wisdom on rogues and warriors … they can use it.

There’s nothing more emblematic of classic wow than a human ret paladin wearing his banana shoulders. They truly are golden gods

I give random players free enchants in Thrallmar when I’m levelling enchanting on my mage. Also buff everyone in sight. What goes around comes around

I gave a random player who was just getting back into wow some gold and a few items to help them get started.

They thanked me and went about their day. We run leveling dungeons together at times. The player isn’t unfriendly but isn’t very social. I made what I think of as a new friend.

I gave away my nether for free to a mage who wanted me to craft spellstrike pants. I win so many nethers, if people are struggling with mats I am more than happy to craft gear for free.

I also passed on a rather profitable enchant recipe because I know that person had been trying for it for days and it was rare drop. I’ll get it someday

About once every other week, I grab magewave bags of the ah, and sit in the inn in goldshire giving out bags and a gold piece to anyone who’d show up.

Guess I’ll have to upgrade to neatherweave bags now lol

I was having a rough day the other day and a random shammy ran past me and emoted /love -for no reason at all, I was just standing there. It made me smile.

Then I saw him again at shadow labs where he hugged me. He’s now on my friends list and constantly pops out of nowhere throwing hugs and love on me lol.
