Activision Blizzard sued by California. This is bad

Notice the only alleged part of this section is Brack talking to him, not his behavior.

My sister would get mocked when she explained the reason she dropped outta Computer Science was due to the ‘culture’ of her peers. Now that these cases are being exposed, folks took her criticism a bit more seriously.

EXPLAINS A LOT DONT IT

Why they seem to be too lazy to do simple things.

The whole Sylvanas fanboyism/Mary Sue stupidity…

The ‘night elf hate’. Amazon culture? Oh hell yeah they’re going to rip that :poop: up one humiliating inch at a time.

Well Alex Afrasiabi is no longer with Blizzard, and I was always wondering why that is… until now. Sounds like he was given a slap on the wrist at first, but didn’t change his behaviour, resulting in him getting shown the door.

So clearly Brack has a line that can’t be crossed before he takes harsher action and Alex crossed it. But what Brack needs to do now is bring that line in closer, and purge every piece of crap in the company who is engaging in this type of behaviour.

Blizzard should be considered bottom 3 of the worst workplace in the gaming industry.

Disagree.
There could easily be agenda behind this in either the people investigating, or the ideals they are trying to push.

Like I said earlier, did they look into why there were women being fired or just the fact they were?
These days the reasons mean a lot less than the numbers

With all the people getting fired soon over this, could be what kills WoW, I sure hope not.

once a badge of prestige on a resume now a blight and plague for whoever worked there

If they are smart they will blue post and say “We will make an official statement soon” etc. It won’t 404.

Yeah i don’t know who either of those people are. And to be honest I don’t care. But yes if this Brack is in a position to purge the bad from the company then he should do it.

Could this be why people have been leaving the company for a couple of years?

We can assume that, But I don’t think he was Fired. I think he walked before he could be.

Yeah, well the article isn’t so damning itself. It mentions the investigation then states:

Female employees working for the World of Warcraft team noted that male employees and supervisors would hit on them, make derogatory comments about rape, and otherwise engage in demeaning behavior, the agency alleges.”

Which could be an implication that the “investigation” may have been merely interviewing a few employees.
