Really, Is that even necessary to bring up? I don’t think anyone is saying what blizzard did was wrong over their gender.

Today, Activision Blizzard announcedthe promotion of Blizzard chief commercial officer and the chief operating officer Armin Zerza to CFO of the whole company. What it did not announce to the public is that it has also hired a new chief administrative officer: former Donald Trump administration member Brian Bulatao.

I would be interested in your opinion of the documents filed by the state. Sexual harassment is only part of the issue, there is also the unequal pay and compensation of women to be addressed. I assume that the state would have access to tax records, and that when they say they have evidence from the ‘defendants own records’ that this was widespread- they would not have filed if they did not have a solid case.

You know… this might explain why working from home turned out to be problematic for the development of Shadowlands. If you are at home playing video games with no women hanging around to do your work for you, maybe not much gets done?

The allegation is that there is a correlation between Blizzard and the reason why she did it, which at the moment has not been provided to Blizzard
Allegations can only be determined at court, evidence is what is presented and brings the case to court.
not sure where you got that but you may need to follow the whole reply thread because whatever your arguing isnt the topic.

you wont see much difference between it or what you have experienced. Id imagine most women grow up the way I did, we’re expected to just go with it. You dont want to be labeled a problem, a prude, a stick in the mud, someone whos going to make waves. But then there comes a time when someone steps way out of line and says something so crazy you get scared.
After that point you realize the only way to stop this sort of behavior/culture is to stop it in its tracks every time. Because Id rather be a wet blanket than a victim.

Sick to my stomach after reading all of that. Blizzard is an embarrassment of a company and I feel terrible for all of the victims as well as the devs there that are doing nothing more than trying to make good games. I don’t know what this may all ultimately lead to, but my view of Blizzard was already not great to begin with after years of disappointment. This just makes me want to abandon their games altogether.

That someone committed suicide is not whats in question. That Blizzard or any employees were responsible for that person taking their life is.
Was there a note? Was there documentation with HR on harassment? Was she suffering from depression (one of the primary causes for people who think about suicide over periods longer then 48 hours,) on antidepressants (can cause suicidal urges) or seeing a psychologist?
Simply saying she committed suicide on a trip with someone doesn’t mean they are responsible. Often suicidal people can keep their intentions even from loved ones who know them best.
