People are confusing this with random accusations thrown around on twitter.
This is a state going after a large company. That doesn’t happen unless they are certain they will win.

This happens to any worker that takes extended time off beyond their vacation hours/paid leave/parental leave, etc. Hard to prove unfortunately.
Look at the wages vs cost of living and you will see that we make less now then we did previously. There are many many reasons for this but yes one of those reasons are the fact that companies do not have to pay as much as they did previously because there are more people in the work force.
As the supply of workers went up the compensation went down based on demand. This is a simple economic concept.

No kidding. Jesus. I mean, he’s trying to claim age and generation here, but I grew up in rural Arkansas in the early 70’s. I grew up on 84 acres of farmland in the middle of the Ozarks with pigs and cows and chickens.
Being a late middle aged hick is no excuse for being this ignorant of basic human function and federal employment laws if one runs his own business.

Well that makes a bit more sense. Not sure why it couldn’t be done in say the bathroom or supply closet then instead of devoting a room to it but it does clear up some understanding of that issue.

Because I don’t want to extract food for my child in the same room where people defecate. A supply closet made comfortable enough with a chair and a door that locks from the inside would be sufficient.
