Actions to Reduce Disruption

This affects everyone going for scepter quest rewards. Have some critical thinking.

You mean like the ones from our faction that put themself on follow until the opposing faction shows up 15+ people deep to kill and camp 2 people? Those guys? Then they themselves get killed on purpose to follow our corpse run?

Seriously, get a life. Don’t you have a raid to prep for?

Blizzard logic for ya and to think all of this couldve been avoided if they simply made the event be a quest chain and the mount and other rewards be obtainable even after the gates had been opened but no they sat back did as little as possible then when the inevitable happened and players started denying others the right to the event thru whatever means they could think up once again Blizzard does as little as possible and tries to make it look like they actually care

were talking band-aid on a broken leg here people

I had been griefed 100x more by my own faction this week than the opposing one. I’ll gladly work with the Alliance if Horde aim to grief me at every opportunity.

Half of the grind was spent by me politely working with whoever I could.

What is pathetic about taking actions to reduce zone disruption and griefing?

They have taken this stance since Vanilla. During TBC, if you pulled world bosses to wipe groups, you’d get suspended. It’s consistent moderation.

They even mention this right here:

This is only one of the ways people are griefing, not only that, it’s the least used method to grief.
Allowing the colluding guilds to carry on and [Censored] on their own faction is deplorable. Blizzard happily watching is what is pathetic.

That’s a textbook whataboutism. Just because there are other issues, doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t have solved this one.

Sure, but it’s also the easiest to fix. Faction collusion is hard to prove and moderate, it mostly happens by use of 3rd party communication which Blizzard has no jurisdiction over. It requires thorough evidence to take action against it.

Blizzard has already addressed it. Faction collusion isn’t specifically against the rules, but cheating is, and sometimes faction collusion falls under that, and sometimes it doesn’t.

So you are going to these lengths to prevent other players from finishing the questline?

I had planned on something of that sort since a horde guild on my realm rolled an alliance alt guild just to grief horde during this event.

Enjoy your ban nerd

Can’t be banned for something I have not yet done.

Also, take a shower.

I shower every day, I’m also married with 3 kids and a full-time job…

only after it became such a headache that one of their Blues had to cut his weekend short to come in and address the seriousness of the issue and in true blizz style they made the minimal effort possible

oh we will look into it yadda yadda blah people will be in trouble blah blah the same kind of chin music they always toss out when these kinds of matter occur and in the end the effort they put forth is always the same little to nothing gets done they simply use the presence of the blues to placate and attempt to deflect away from the overall problem until it actually dies down and nothing really changes

It’s too late for that. You can’t nullify the extreme effort of those pursuing it like that. (…yeah, technically you could, but it would unbelievably monstrous)

It’s as if you think there’s a limited amount of wealth, and that more can’t be created. You’re an idiot.

true but you’d think for once Blizzard could retroactively correct a problem rather then be pro-active for the next time which as we all know will never happen they have a slow track record when it comes to such matters and typically the aftermath is always the same the ones that break the rules get little to nothing done as punishment in cases like these they dont even bother to remove the item that was the cause of the dispute in the first place and the people that do it are well aware of this knowing Blizzards response will be minimal if they even do a thing so it basically tells them keep looking for ways to bend the rules Blizzard will be slow to react and hand out penalty

Well, this tells me all I need to know about what Blizzard has become.

Now I finally understand you think you do but you don’t. Brack didn’t say that because of the game, but because Blizzard itself has become to fat and lazy to manage such a game.

It is apparently too much work to police the huge amount of same faction briefing happening in Silithus, even though if they spent a couple minutes watching, it’d be as obvious as someone griefing the questline.

Thank you Kaivax.

Is it really shilling when all he’s spouting is observable fact?

Look a bunch of blizzard shills flagged this so no one will see, typical.

oh look…not only is right click report abused in game, but the flag system is abused on the forums.

It’s a conspiracy.

OH MY GOD! you mean somebody had to actually do work at blizzard in order for them to make money, how awful. Sarcasm aside…If blizzard is so short staffed then the easy solution would be “Hire more staff”. It’s not our fault that Actiblizzard decided to have a skeleton crew for all of classic. It’s a billion dollar company and they should put forth the effort needed to keep things running smoothly without cutting corners, they can certainly afford it.

So full on zone disruption via Silithian Collusion is OK? Asking for future reference for other collusion-based disruptions.
