naw more like an ploy by Blizzard to reassure the players in hopes of distracting from the issue until it blows over by offering a half hearted attempt to do something which will basically be nothing since the event will be over then theyll suddenly resolve the issue and all of the mounts etc will still be owned by the same people that purposely interfered with the questing of others not in their group to obtain one
TLDR Blizzard will sit on their hands until its over then proclaim they did all could to handle the problem yet nothing will have been done
well of course it is after all once the event is officially ended all of the people locking the zone down to prevent outsiders from obtaining their own mount will still have theirs and the rest of us will simply be told sorry better luck next time
This is going to be a long rant, I do apologize in advance.
Whelp, here we are, AQ event, no layering, no increased bug spawns, no increased turn ins… but we do have bans on people holding the green quest line?
How about that collusion blizzard? A bannable offense to the ToS? No?
Mass reports to good players? Against your ToS I would imagine somewhere…
Bots still running around?
Honestly, blizzard, this whole event has made me deeply rethink how to approach Shadowlands and TBC for classic. We comply with the ToS as a two way street. We agree to obey the rules, and you agree to enforce them. If you do not enforce the rules, it makes your game bloody toxic. If I wanted that toxicity, I would be playing League of Legends… which is a free game mind you. Not one someone pays $15 a month for.
It’s not like we didn’t warn you blizzard, you just didn’t listen… again.
I have my own mounts that don’t scream “MURDER ME IN PVP!”
It isn’t the mount or the shiny for me. It’s THE JOURNEY that always counted to me. And being screwed out of even just wanting to help the effort is seen with disdain by modern Classic players.
Am sorry to tell you but working a cm in wow probably is not really something kothik care about . So have respect toward people that do something no one want to do
Are you going to address the streamers who are getting their guild members to mass report other farmers for kicks so they can get them removed from farming the hives too?
We have clearly doctored video of these conspiracy theorists, who state there is Silithian Collusion, eating a live puppy on national television.
PS–There is a limit on how many LIKES you can give other posts? I just had a “Like Lockout” trying to hit the heart on your post, saying that I’ve liked too many posts…
honestly this is an issue that in the end not everyone is going to satisfised with the outcome so in order to minimize the outrage Blizzard should just go ahead and make the bugs be obtainable full time
after all thats the entire reason groups are trying to limit access to them so why not destroy the one thing theyre using to disrupt others playing?
give equal access to the mounts to all players by making the quest line remain after the gates open and the bug still be obtainable
That’s a textbook whataboutism. Just because there are other issues, doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t have solved this one.
It isn’t whataboutism at all. It is literally part of the same exact quest chain as this issue. And a big reason people are getting griefed in this quest chain is in retaliation for griefing their own faction in Silithus.
And no, it isn’t hard to just go observe Silithus and see it going on. The problem is Blizzard fired a lot of their support and don’t have the resources to actually check in game behavior. A couple of hours of simply watching people in Silithus would make it obvious what is going on. You shouldn’t have to send in multiple videos, a notorized confession, and a dna sample to have something this obvious actionable. EDIT: And even if you do, they don’t care.
You chose to be on a PVP server, and the war effort was meant for everyone. Your complaints tell me you have never played vanilla, and are a retail baby upset you are not going to get a stupid mount. You roll on a PVP server, this is what you get, don’t cry about it when it allows crap like this to happen. Obviously it is not THAT big of a deal, otherwise there would be a huge reaction and horde and alliance players would just head to Sithius en mass and kill them.
all Blizzard has to do is make the acquisition of the bug mount chain be a permanent thing you do the chain on an alt you ring the gong and boom mount is yours to claim
that would end 99% of the problems since no one would have to worry about the event ending and being muscled out by the few groups wanting to ensure only they and those they decide are the only ones that are entitled to have them
I find the entire situation laughable. Also every single person that whined about cross faction collusion really needs to shut the hell up as I would bet my account that 99.9% of you have taken part in it thru the hourly resets of world buffs. So if you are not gonna complain about it there you sure as hell should not be complaining about it somewhere else. Different end result same “bannable” offense to get there that blizzard just looks the other way on.
yeah and you notice Blizzard didnt get in any hurry since it wasnt something that left them in an uncomfortable position like the GM on that live stream
basically unless it becomes a situation that brings shameful acts to light that the company cant sidestep or sweep under the rug they will simply stay silent under the entire fiasco dies down
Classic is already ruined by your guys apathetic disinterest in maintaining the game and lack of action. Just ban them, simple as that. 6 months or more preferably.
