I think we should let people leave if they want. But they can only leave if they identify themselves as a “leaver” with a toggle that is visible to people inviting them to groups. Then we can just collectively ignore all the toxic m+ leavers and they can be stuck running with eachother and having to remake groups every 5 mins cuz they have a party of 5 leavers. Seems perfect for everybody
Maybe a leavers party where they leave and join 10000000000000 times on repeat on the same group. Just join and leave and join and leave over and over. I bet that would be fun…
If you’re getting enough of those groups to hit the leaver suspension, you should reconsider how you choose your groups.
Reduce the Harbringer of the Gilded achievement for the warband Gilded Crest discount to 636 ilvl. Currently, only the tiniest percentage of players have and will be unlocking this to help with gearing alts.
Well thanks to boosting and blizzard giving those sellers even an own channel to spam with/in, many noobs bought those 10 keys and Queen curve kills. In raids you can filter by checking people’s gray logs, but M+ it’s trickier. I am mostly running with my guildies, but it’s fascinating, that if I dare to run a random key, there’s always one hard burden in the group. It’s an actual plague. And the funniest thing is, some people here NOT calling this griefing lol. How is this NOT griefing joining a key willingly/knowing you are terribly bad at the game and not even do something in LFR raids and ruin everyone’s time with your mere presence. And now on top of that those people can just report other people left & right, who don’t wanna boost them and waste their time in depleted hour/s long 10 keys.
Competitive play is what has ruined WoW. Delves are great as they are. They don’t need the stupidity that destroyed dungeons and raids. Not everything in-game is meant for the M+ mindset.
Agreed, they should’ve just given delve the crests so those people stay as far away as possible from M+ and we wouldn’t even have this thread here in the 1st place.
M+ seems to be wasted content cause you can’t get people to stay in group. They can just delete it and concentrate all in on delve development for high end gear. They can make delve keys for timed delves.
Replace M+ for D+.
Working as intended, someone on their decision making team is a raid or die type. Which is why they keep trying to give more and more advantage to people who mythic raid.
Correction, some people can’t get others to stay in a group. Many of us don’t have this issue because we either know how to vet properly or are not the least common denominator.
Perhaps. But if you get invited to someone else’s key and people leave for whatever reason, then it becomes your problem because of time wasted.
It’s pug life.
I had two friends who were affected by this ban wave. They complained and complained and complained in the discord about how it was unfair and unjust.
Both of these individuals are over 3K IO.
I asked them, but one simple question. “ In the past week alone, how many keys have you left?”
Each said well over 10. One of them said in the past month alone they’ve probably left over 50 keys. I simply asked why they felt that they needed to leave the key?
Their response was simply it wasn’t timeable.
I told them even if a key isn’t timeable they should still finish it out as the key holder And others there can still be rewarded with loot or simply crests.
Both were highly against this answer as they felt that their time was being wasted.
The system is far from perfect however, it is there to punish repeated behavior, exhibited by people who routinely leave keys. I’m sure eventually the thresholds for such things will be discovered by the public But since this has come out, I have had a far more positive experience with mythic plus.
I’ve had far fewer leavers within My keys and less people being Toxic
Well since they’re both over 3k, which means they run 12 > keys, that’s totally normal to leave a key, when you make a big pull using every CD your class/spec has, Pot and BL, to then wipe during that.
Gear you can farm in 8 keys / 10 for the vault, no need to play a 12 > key to the end when you wipe during the first big pull or 2nd, that’s absolute time waste & non sense.
But ay, thanks to blizz every poor soul who’s not blessed with a core group/community/guild to run with, is now either forced to play stupid keys in the fear of getting reported/banned, getting held hostaged, by some low IQ boosted lunatics who with their mere precense ruining a key with the lack of knowledge about their class/spec nor what the dungeon/mobs/bosses do, or don’t touch M+ at all. That’s a way to scare another portion of the playerbase away, well done Blizz.
People generally don’t leave keys that are going well. Hence why some players rarely encounter rage quitters while others seem to experience it constantly.
The raw number of keys that were left is only part of the story. The untold are:
- 10-50 out of how many? Blizzard post seems to reference that the ratio matters.
- If they made rude comments before dipping. Which does happen frequently and depending on what they said would also be a big factor in their suspensions.
Your friends left in ways that got them reported enough times to be flagged, had their reports reviewed, and actioned on.
People don’t report leavers in high keys since you mentioned 3k+ if keys simply are not going to be timed. There’s a mutual understanding of “gg keys dead”. If they got reported, and enough times to be flagged, then they most certainly left while being toxic and flaming.
Depends on what you define “well”. I’ve seen people leave keys for many and various reasons. Nothing is guaranteed in pug life. Especially when it’s not your key.
I didn’t say anything is guaranteed. Yes people leave keys for many and various reasons. Nothing you stated has anything to do with that I said.
People generally don’t leave keys that are going well.
So? What you’re saying is basic and generic. It adds nothing of value here.
Your point?
I already made my point. If people are leaving your keys left and right then you are the common denominator.
People generally don’t leave keys that are going well.
Which is why some players hardly see rage quitters while others see them constantly.
It’s not much of one. Basic generic answer.
Yeah, no. This is just false. Next…
