Why am I not surprised the retail account guy thinks playing with other people is cheating?
The best part is (if you glance over his post history), his comment is a not so subtle/passive aggressive jab at Alliance premades in AV.
Basically another ‘Hey Alliance, stop cheating/being losers’ post.
I’ll be amazed if the Alliance BG population doesn’t further dwindle going forward. There will prob be some AB hype initially…but following that I suspect the queue will go up dramatically for Horde…especially later into BWL and early AQ when PvP gear becomes largely irrelevant.
@kaivax What about the hundreds of asian bots farming Dungeons or roaming each zone. Also how are multi-boxers not banned? They use 3rd party programs to bind each account to the same key strokes, they are abusing game mechanics.

Yea…needs more purging, you got none of the bots being reported on our realm. which is sad, it’s been going on for months,

I never considered the Alliance pre mading AV cheating, I would have done it too if I were Alliance, and I did during Vanilla when I could. I always viewed it as part of the game, and the lack of ability for Horde players to play with people they knew as the real issue.

We need a hall of shame by server. You would be surprised just how much influence it would have for people on the wall about cheating or not.
No I pick what is fun (gameplay flow-wise). If you feel the need to compensate gameplay with numerically optimal builds in order stroke your ego (and aren’t doing it to win a valid competition), then you have low self-esteem.

does this mean premades will be banned? thats unfair. or how about banning yourselves for making the horde starting cave 1/3 the way up the map?
Suspensions are not enough after several months of AFK honor farming. You need to strip their honor and remove any PVP gear they’ve purchased.
Suspensions will be fine going forward only if you check for bots and suspend people every week.

Usually this kind of crackdown generates “Yay, the afkers got banned” or “Yes, it’s about time” kind of messages. But I’m not seeing many of those.

Nobody got banned. Just suspended. Big difference. Nobody was stripped of their titles (to my knowledge). I’d feel confident in saying everyone who hit Rank 13 - 14 first was definitely account sharing and/or botting.
The repercussions of that is you can’t play for a month or two. Not a ban. Not stripped of titles or gear. …etc. The ban waves were far too late.

While there’s certainly botters in every wave of pvp’ers and we all hate them, saying that everyone who put in more effort than you’re willing to give is a botter is arrogant AF.
